I was confused as to why there are so many high reviews when I found it pretty bad, but I have figured it out. Pizza Union is the ‘pizza equivalent’ of a McDonald’s. McDonald’s is hugely popular because it’s cheap, very fast & the food is ‘good enough’ for this cheap price but McD’s wouldn’t ever be mistaken as a quality burger place. Pizza Union follows this pattern. It is very cheap, very fast & the pizza was edible and ‘good enough’ for this cheap price, but it shouldn’t be mistaken for as a good quality pizza place. There are no waiters, hosts or signs to explain whether to order at the til or sit down & wait for a waiter so I had to ask the chef. You order & pay at the til just like McDonald’s or Nando’s & collect your food. My pizza arrived within 5 minutes, but even though it was straight out of the oven, it wasn’t hot. The first slice was very different from the last slice, as at first; the base is soft but within 10 minutes it hardens to become crispy & crunchy. Personally I prefer a softer doughy crust, but this pizza is extra thin & has that frozen pizza biscuit like crust. The whole experience in the restaurant from entering to leaving was only 20 minutes. If you want a quick snack, or a fast & cheap lunch, then this is the place for you…Which explains the positive reviews. But if you want a good quality & delicious pizza then this is not the place. Only 2 staff members working but both friendly. I can see why it is popular & has good reviews, but...

Food was ok, however the service was TERRIBLE. As soon as we went to the counter the guy taking our order (and turned out to be the manager), was incredibly rude. My gf does not eat pork (and most of the pizzas have pork) so she politely asked if she could swap the pork for chicken, he looked dismayed and grunted no at us. So I asked why? And he just grunted no swaps. So I asked if we paid extra for the chicken and he reluctantly agreed. Then as we were also with our famly and friends, we asked him at the end of our meal (and very large order) we kindly asked the same man if he could take a photo of us all together? As I do not get to see my family very often. He again grunted at us No! And told us to ask someone else instead, SO RUDE! We had put 2 tables together, as there was 12 of us and the rest of the restaurant was empty, and then the same guy came running over to us ordering us to put the tables back! I explained we were not bothering anyone or in the way at all, and we were finishing and leaving very soon. He then very angrily explained that he was the manager there! So I asked him if he was OK? Or having a very bad day? He looked amazed, so I explained that we all thought he was being very rude to us from the moment we arrived, and the way he was talking to us sounded very rude. And he just walked off insisting we put the tables back now! HORRIBLE SERVICE! PROBABLY THE WORST I HAVE HAD, RUNINED A FAMILY GATHERING, MAANGER SHOULD BE...

A Sublime Experience at Pizza Union, King’s Cross

From the very first moment I stepped into Pizza Union at King’s Cross, I knew I was about to embark on an unparalleled culinary journey. The service was unbelievably swift — I barely had time to settle into my seat before my piping-hot, mouth-watering pizza was placed before me. It was, without a doubt, the fastest and most efficient dining experience I have ever encountered.

And the flavour? Simply out of this world! Every bite was an explosion of the most exquisite, divine, and heavenly flavours imaginable. The crust was perfectly thin and deliriously crisp, the toppings sumptuously generous, and the sauce? An absolute masterpiece — rich, vibrant, and unforgettably delicious.

The atmosphere was electrifying yet relaxed, creating the ideal backdrop for what can only be described as a spectacular, jaw-dropping, and unrivalled meal. Pizza Union isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a temple of pizza perfection, an epic celebration of taste, speed, and service.

Without question, this was one of the most phenomenal dining experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend Pizza Union at King’s Cross highly enough — it’s an absolute must-visit, a glorious gem in London’s...

After perhaps being a tad intoxicated, what is a better way to continue your afternoon? Pizza and frozen cocktails of course! The venue is not far from Kings X Station and is a large spacious area. Neón lights give it that trendy and hip edge. As you enter there wasn’t anyone to let us know if we just find a seat or if we needed to be seated so, we kinda floundered our way to a table. You order at the till, take a buzzer and you are alerted to collect your creation. No pizza is more than £7.00! Lots of option and customisable is required. Pizza came very quick and was eaten just as fast. Super thin crust. Good amount of toppings. Boom. Decent choice of drinks (Frozen Margs, Mojitos, soft drinks and beers) and little starters such as olives and breadstick things. Garlic/Chilli Dip. £0.55. Game. Changer. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere and I will definitely be back! Finally, there is Wifi. It’s free.
