Truly one of London's little gems! this garden is great for kid's and adults alike. Whether you want to just relax and feel as if your out of the hustle of the city over a cup of tea/coffee perhaps with a bite to eat at there extremely friendly cafè, or you want to kick a ball about in the first of its kind well at least in London😉 "fully protected' outdoor 5 a side football pitch with space for an audience Calthorpe is the place! They also have many different activities, clubs and teach lessons in various subjects for all age groups. Calthorpe Community Garden really does caters for all and is...

Got shouted at for walking a well behaved Labrador through the garden, even though there’s no signs anywhere to say no dogs, and there wasn’t another person to be seen in the garden. I can appreciate if the dog was dangerous, running riot, messing everywhere and the garden was busy, but this was just pure grumpiness and overly authoritarian, making rules up for the sake of it. Lighten up and have a bit of tolerance if you want people to “Relax, Play, Explore” as is emblazoned all over the front gate. And put a sign up if dogs...

Calthorpe Community Garden is a hidden gem of the area near King's Cross. This garden has quite big territory, lots of zones to do some gardening, play, crafting and reading. And their staff is just amazing! Today we met a lady, whose name is Michelle and who has done (1) tile painting, (2) drawing, (3) gardening lesson, (4) magic wand creating just in two hours of work with our kids!

One more plus: they have a separate play area with toys for early years. This cactus is located there,...

Such a beautiful space, full of gorgeous plants, blooms and things to look at. It looks like it is incredibly loved and such a nice space for people to be able to go too. There are loads of quirky things to look at too such as a spin bike shrine, boots filled with blooms and butterfly tiles. Definitely go and explore the space, very important spaces and deserves lots of love!
