We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday, and I regret to say, please avoid this place at all costs. The service was awful from the start. When we tried to speak to the server in English, she rudely yelled at my friend, saying, 'I don’t speak Italian.' Luckily, we weren’t speaking Italian! The starters were served ice-cold, and we never even had the chance to voice our concerns since no one checked in on us. The pizzas were mediocre—nothing special, but not terrible either. I’ve had better, but I’ve had worse.

The worst part was when the server brought us the dessert menu and then told us, 'You’ve got 5 minutes left at the table.' We were completely shocked, as there was no prior mention of a 90-minute time limit. Being a group of six, we had to endure cold starters and average pizzas, and then they rushed us during dessert, ruining the entire experience. We didn’t even have time to enjoy our drinks or properly celebrate my friend's birthday—no chance to make a wish or blow out the candle.

Honestly, I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but this experience was so upsetting. We were there to celebrate a special occasion, and the restaurant...

We ordered two pizzas, one burrata and one croquette (£40) around 8pm. We understood that it may take an hour for delivery which we accepted. The delivery time kept being pushed back and when it got to 9.30 I called the restaurant and was told the food wasn’t prepared because there were no delivery drivers out front. This wasn’t the case, I could see the driver had been outside for some time. They then said they’d make the food and would be with us shortly. It arrived around 10.10 and was cold. I live about a 15 minute walk from the restaurant so was surprised that it was stone cold. The cheese on the pizza had solidified. Before calling the restaurant, I messaged the driver to see where he was. The driver responded saying he had been outside the restaurant for an hour!! I’m really disappointed given that the restaurant was recommended to be by a friend but I won’t be going back or recommending this to anyone. I just want my money back, I’m quite upset we spent that kind of money when we would have had a better experience by making oven...

Not sure why everyone thinks this is 'the best' they've had in London? Have you tried many places?

Very few toppings on the pizza. (literally ordered because Alessandra below said "maybe too much toppings") Very thin and simple tasting crust. Little on the small side.

They should actually only get 3 stars but I gave them 4 because it was actually flavorful and not soggy (usually thin pizza is wet in London, not cooked correctly) so good job there!

Asked them to cook it well done (most places never cook long enough to make the cheese melt and stringy the way pizza should be),add oregano, parmesan and red chilli flakes (nope to all).

I'd have given 5 stars if there were 1/3 more toppings and they cooked it the way I asked.

Want better authentic pizza from a place that will cater to your requests? Toni's Amalfi down the road. Larger. More toppings and really authentic!

Shame, most of the photos here looked like the pizza was filled with toppings, but does mine below?

EDIT: Noticed you replied but nothing about the small amount...

Frankly if you are not from Napoli you won’t fully grasp how this place is one of the greatest Pizzerias outside of Napoli. You step in and travel immediately to italy. The noise the issues the flavours the messy kids the tacky decor is all there. This place could be easily in Montesanto or quartieri spagnoli. Just to top it all the icon of Saint Diego Armando is on the main window to remind all who the saint protector of Napoli is. Now for the rest of the world: if you want to know how a pizza should taste come to this place. Don’t bother ordering on these app ( and don’t listen to the bad reviews which are mostly from app users) this pizza is supposed to be tasted sitting down downing a Moretti with the smells and flavours around and not after it has been shaken around in some delivery box. So far the best pizza this side of Napoli I have ever tasted. The rest of the food is same level of quality and matching Napoli’s flavour. Try the Baba’ it’s literally lifted from via Roma. 5 stars all around.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a disaster from start to finish. The pizza tasted like it was slapped together by someone who’s never seen an oven before — greasy, undercooked, and somehow both soggy and dry in all the wrong places. The toppings looked like leftovers from someone else’s plate. Bland, rubbery, and just sad. The service? Don’t even get me started. Took 40 minutes to get our food with barely anyone in the place. Staff stood around chatting while we waited, completely ignoring us. When we asked about our order, the server gave us the most condescending attitude like we were the problem for wanting actual food. And the staff — unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. Rude, clueless, and clearly not trained to deal with customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Honestly, I’ve had better pizza from a gas station. Save yourself the time, money, and stomachache.
