Responding to a response to the owner: It's actually appalling how you've changed the timeline of events. We complained about the meal BEFORE requesting the bill at no point in time did you tell us you'll offer a replacement and we did not consume much of the dish. Even your reply to google reviews is false and misleading. FYI it was not the mint Initial Review: No idea why the restaurant actually have good reviews. We had a bun bo hue and a pho ga, both were terrible.. The pho ga was actually so bad that it tasted like paint - a metallic taste to the noodles or soup- we notified them, they took it out back and explain it was the mint and there was nothing wrong with the dish itself- we hardly even touched the dish due to the concerns of the metallic taste- terrible service. Would strongly recommend don't come here. The serving sizes were beyond terrible too - spring roll sizes are the size of like a babies thumb... and very minimal noodles in noodles dishes.

Why is this place SO expensive? Two veg spring rolls for £6.95 (see photo evidence of plate and receipt) is daylight robbery. Also veg curry at £13.95 is outrageous. The food and flavours here are NOT refined and the atmosphere is OK. So why these prices? Would not recommend - do yourself a favour and spend elsewhere. In response to the owner's response: Prices are on the menu however my comments relate to the very small portions we received for those prices (portion sizes do not appear on the menu). We maintain that paying £6.95 for two spring rolls, for example, is outrageous, especially when they are not particularly gourmet and it's not in keeping with similar restaurants in the area. The same goes for the curry - very small portion and unfortunately not remarkable taste-wise. I have fairly rated that the service was pleasant.

I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant for the first time and was disappointed by the high prices. Despite being a neighborhood spot, it seemed to be more expensive than other similar restaurants I've been to. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that the restaurant only accepts cash and charges a service fee on top of the already high prices. In today's digital age, it seems outdated for a restaurant to only accept cash and it may deter potential customers who prefer to pay with card. The pho I had was decent, but not exceptional, and the pork chop was a bit dry. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean. I understand that prices may be affected by inflation and rising costs, but I believe that offering more reasonable prices and accepting card payments would lead to more satisfied and returning customers.

Unfortunately terrible encounter at this place. Ordered takeaway and picked it up, checked the receipt with the order and had verbal confirmation from the waiter that it was all correct. Got home and realised that 2 out of the 3 items were wrong. My pregnant gf is allergic to shellfish and we found out instead of chicken we had prawns. We disposed of it and rang the restaurant, they said to come in for a refund. Upon arrival the owner demanded that I get in his car and drive to our flat to inspect the contents himself. He also said if I got a refund he would take it FROM HIS OWN STAFF. I promptly told him I wasn't going to allow him access to our compound nor go through the trash for what shouldn't had been there and potentially making my gf sick.

Disgraceful customer service. Owner was rude and aggressive, especially to expect a customer to get in his car and steal from his own staff.

What we did eat of their food was pretty atrocious anyway, perhaps we avoided the worst part....their...

We recently had a quick lunch at this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant and had an incredible experience! We ordered the fresh rolls with prawns and pork, which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the ingredients were of the highest quality.

We also tried the duck baguette and pork dumplings, both of which were equally amazing. The duck in the baguette was tender and flavorful, and the pork dumplings were cooked to perfection.

In addition to the fantastic food, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure that our experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal.

Overall, I highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to return for...
