The coffe at sendero, all branches are simply amazing, I am a regular customer and love the coffee at sendero but the staff at sendero Lavenderi Hill are sometimes too rude that makes me question myself whether I have to go back there or not. Its a tough decision as I love the coffee there but the attitude of staff make me not wanting to go there anymore. I try my best to go to Brixton or Putney branch when I can to enjoy my coffee and avoid being treated inappropriately.

There were several occasions that made me so upset. Once we asked for a few toasted sandwiches and it was burnt all over we could not eat it, so I went to the lady working there and polietly said we cannot eat this its burnt and she took away the sandwich without apologizing and 2 minutes after she brought us sandwiches that was not even warmed up! She said the cheese is not melted because she did not want the sandwich to get burnt again! I always have chicken sandwiches at sendero it taste amazing and its actually one of my favorites there but the way she treated us ruined our day, so she actually meant we had to eat it either burnt or raw (no other option) which was so disappointing.

Also there were a few occasions that we went there about 1 hour before closing and specifically I asked to have my coffee inside (in a mug) I undrestand 30mins to 20mins before closing would be hard to baristas to serve us in a mug, but 1 hour before closing would be okay I guess! So the barista brought us our coffees in take away cups and said they are cleaning up so we said nothing, this happened next time again and I went to brista saying may I have my coffee in a mug as I asked to have it inside (she could say we only serving in take away cups at thr time of ordering, so I could decide whether I want my coffee in cups or not but she refused), she grapped the cup from me and poured it into a mug and gave it back which I found so so rude and arrogant.

I appreciate the quality of food and coffee and even the nice and warm ambiance at the Sendero Lavenderhill but the way some of the staffs behave may result in loosing a lot of customers.

I should be fair and also say that the gentleman I guess called, Goerge, working at lavenderhill was the best he made great coffees and he was friendly and polite but I guess he...

I happened to be in South London today so decided to go to Senderos as it had good reviews & I appreciate real coffee as I work in the speciality industry. I must say I was bitterly disappointed. If it wasn't for the guy working Saturday afternoon (who was excellent) I would have given one star. The woman working had the most miserable face, was so slow, rude & I felt like she was doing us a favour. We ordered 3 flat whites, 1 hot chocolate, apple juice & 7 different pastries. We spent £25. We were first in the queue & it took FIFTEEN MINUTES till we got the first drink & then received the last pastry TWENTY FIVE minutes in. First two coffees were lukewarm, but acceptable I guess, but the 3rd one was literally cold & I had to send it back. Yet again, the guy was great & remade the flat white & served it with a smile which shows experience. I don't usually write negative reviews as I don't like to affect other people's businesses but I had such a bad experience that I had to share it because it seems like Senderos have a good ethos & great potential but they need to step up quickly otherwise they'll quickly...

We were regulars before the lockdown period and have continued being regulars as the team has kept a vital service open in the local community

The team have created a warm, friendly atmosphere, with great coffee and food! They've opened a small Farm Shop providing essentials when the local Sainsburys and Tesco were out, but with far better quality now the shops have been restocked. Can highly recommend the avocados and clementines. They also have flour and eggs!

The coffee is some of the best we've tried in London, ethically and sustainable sourcing is also a real benefit They sell this by the kilogram bag meaning you can take the flavours home for your own use

Finally, they have a coffee shop dog who is always available for petting and who is really friendly...

I’ve been in twice and both times asked for a 12 ounce coffee. Both times I’ve been served an 8 ounce and charged for the 12 ounce. I have told the “barista” that she is serving an 8oz coffee and she argued with me that it is definitely a 12oz. I have been a barista for 20+ years in artisan coffee and I run/have a coffee shop, so when I got home this time I measured it and sure enough it’s 8oz. Surely it’s a basic requirement of a barista that you know what sizes you offer and certainly should know the difference between a 4, 8,12 and 16 oz cup. Your cups are 4, 8,12 oz But just so you know for next time here is a photo of an 8,12 and 16 oz cup.

Brilliant decaf coffee! The toffee/biscuit after taste is strong and hits the right spot. Such a lovely space, very laptop-friendly with plenty of light :) The playlist is also muchhhh appreciated, very chill vibes. The baristas also seemed sweet and kind! Would recommend :) EDIT AUG: I initially gave this place 5 stars and loved it. 3 months later, I visited again and it was not the same :( The barista forgot about my croissant so I had to rush it down, and the coffee was way too hot - had a burnt taste to it.

Probably one of the best cup of coffee I've had in London. The organically sourced specialty coffee has great flavour. The breakfast menu offers plenty of good options to choose from and the staff is very friendly. The owners take pride in their coffee and display information and photos about the origin of their coffee beans which adds a nice touch to the seating area.
