I recently dined at Polanco and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Our host, Valentina, was exceptional, providing the best recommendations that made our meal truly memorable. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a stylish decor that created the perfect setting for our evening.

We started with the chicharron crispy pork, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The caponata was a delightful surprise, full of rich and vibrant flavors. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chicken al pastor, an absolute must-try.

To complement our meal, Valentina recommended the "Leyenda Mexicano" mezcal, which quickly became our favorite. It was the perfect blend of smokey flavours and added an extra touch of authenticity to our dining experience.

The attention to detail in every aspect of our visit was outstanding, from the presentation of the dishes to the impeccable service. we went to Polanco on friday 7 june 2024. Valentina was our server, she was kind and patient with us as we navigated the variety of spirit/drink options. for drinks, i had the clamato michelada (extra hot sauce) with modelo and my partner had a hibiscus margarita (both delicious). for food we had the empanadas, ceviche, corn, and taco platter (baja fish, beef birria, and chicken). we enjoyed all of our food, we loved the ceviche (i understand it’s tapas/small plates so this isn’t a real complaint more a commmentary on how much i enjoyed) i wish there was more!! of the tacos, our personal favourites was the beef and fish, the chicken was good but those were our top two! the sauce that came with the tacos (not quite a consommé, more like a stew with tiny bits of beef) was delicious. everything had so much flavour!

by the end of the meal, i was comfortably full and didn’t want to spoil my physical feeling by indulging in dessert. but i’m excited to try the tres leches tiramisu next time we go!

Wow wow wow! Polanco absolutely blew my mind. Hands down the best tacos in London and quite possibly all of Europe. I’ve tried top-rated Mexican taco spots from New York to California, and even in Tijuana, Mexico, and I can confidently say Polanco is right up there with the very best.

The ingredients were top quality, everything was cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was buzzing, I went late on a Friday evening and it was still packed close to 11pm. Despite the rush, Valentina, the waitress who served me, was incredibly kind and attentive. She patiently walked me through most of the menu, explained each dish, and helped me pick the perfect ones based on my preferences.
