Mineiro Café — Restaurant in London

I was somewhat disappointed on my 2nd visit to this place and unfortunately my review is for this 2nd visit. On a quiet Sunday morning I decided to order scrambled eggs and a black coffee, a simple order I would imagine.

However this took nearly 30 minutes to materialise and then to cap it all the waitress, having brought everyone's order to their table decided instead to call me to come and collect my order.

Insulting and disrespectful in my opinion and I insisted that my order be brought to my table as every other customer has.

I cannot recommend this venue as a result and I am at a loss as to why I had been singled out for this type of treatment especially as I had made my enquiries politely and with respect.

Food is not that bad, but the service requires more professionalism. I ordered a piece of cake and a cappuccino. For reasons unknown to me, the attendant brought a double portion of cake. She said she was sorry and then turned to the people sitting next to my table, pointing at me and laughing. Then everyone started looking at me and laughing. Her behavior was very rude. I didn't ask for a double portion; it was her mistake. She found it amusing and made me the object of laughter. For me it wasn't a joke at all. Mineiro Café is a delightful local spot that has become a favorite of mine. The coffee is consistently excellent, offering rich flavors that rival any high-end café, all at very reasonable prices.
