Served with fluffy saffron rice, salad, and their addictive garlic and chilli sauces, it’s easily enough to share – though you might not want to.

Vegetarians aren’t left out, either. The falafel wrap (£8.50) is crunchy and flavorful, and pairs beautifully with Sishlique’s creamy hummus and tangy pickles. Don’t miss the baba ghanoush (£6.00) – smoky, silky, and a perfect starter with fresh, warm flatbread.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this shawarma spot, visiting almost every other week. While the food itself is undeniably delicious, the portion sizes are extremely inconsistent and, frankly, disappointing for the price.

On my most recent visit, I ordered the shawarma mix (£9) and specifically asked for the salad and rice to be separate, with the meat by itself. I also mentioned that during my last visit, the portion of meat was too small, so I requested a little extra this time. Instead of a reasonable response, I was told I would need to pay an additional £5 per extra portion, which seemed excessive.

When I got home and checked my food, I was shocked—about 80-90% of the container was salad, with only 10-15% actual shawarma meat. For £9, this is simply unacceptable. I even took a picture to document how unbalanced the meal was.

I called the restaurant to express my disappointment, especially since I have been a long-time customer. Unfortunately, the response I received wasn’t satisfactory. Food is really great but they regularly get orders wrong. Please take the time to write down orders, check and double check. I've stopped ordering online as riders often turn up with completely the wrong food (this has happened to me 3 times). You need a better system of labeling in the shop. Whilst collecting food they have forgotten half of the order, then only started to cook the remaining food after you point out whats missing. Staff are then abrupt when you point out their mistake. This results in a ten minute delay and cold food which is completely unnecessary. Haven't been in for a few months. Its incredibly frustrating as the food is really good they just need to work on the customer experience. It shows how good the food is that I still give them 4 stars.

UPDATE: Ordered again yesterday and there was no bread with the mixed Mezza starter. Lowering to 3 stars unfortunately. Also still not labeling which is which wrap meaning you have to pull the wrap apart to identify which contains meat.
