Ruya — Restaurant in London

I recently visited Mani & Nick's in Mill Hill Broadway, and unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Here's a rundown of everything that went wrong during our visit.

Firstly, the baby changing facilities are incredibly poorly designed. The changing table lowers right under the hand dryer, which means you can't change your baby without the hand dryer going off. The loud noise of the dryer kept scaring our baby, making it a very difficult and stressful experience for us.

Secondly, we put in a food order early for our baby, expecting that the adults' meals would follow shortly after. While the baby's food arrived, my wife and I ended up waiting over 45 minutes for our order, which never came. We repeatedly asked the waitress about our food, but she didn't even bother to check on our order. Finally, after 45 minutes, we were informed that our order had been lost in the kitchen. To make matters worse, diners who arrived after us were being served their meals promptly. It was clear that common sense and basic customer service were sorely lacking.

The entire experience was incredibly frustrating. The staff were unhelpful, and the waitresses seemed completely uninterested in providing any level of service. We ended up leaving without our food because we needed to take our baby home for a nap.

Overall, the poor service and lack of attention from the staff made for a very disappointing visit. We will not be returning to Mani & Nick's and cannot recommend...

Used to go to Mani and Nicks every Saturday and we had no issues , the food was always excellent, I have decided to go the other day and I must say I was disappointed, the kids pasta was served in a plastic ikea kids plate and I have been many times and they had proper plates for it, that was one thing , then I’ve ordered chicken wings with rice and salad, when I got the food the rice was old , it was not cooked properly, it was crunchy, I told them I don’t like it they took it away , 20 min passed and they only removed from my plate the rice anf the girl working there told me it will take 30 min for the rice and if I want anything else , I told her I want chips which should take roughly 5-10 min, another 20-30 min passed, they brought back my previous plate that was only the rice removed and it was cold at this point and still bits of rice left , I got really annoyed at this point and I told them what is going on , finally the chips came and I ate but at this point I had no appetite left . I am really disappointed and looks like they have changed their management and they were really unprofessional and full of excuses, I would never go...

Walked in and had to go to the counter as not greeted to show where reserved table was & was just pointed to one which had someone else's name on! Long wait for food even though everyone in restaurant already had their food & only ordered wraps. The falafel was rock hard & stodge & inedible. Everything ordered was a disappointment & service was slack & they couldn't even recall taking the order. Overpriced with no regard for presentation. Paid the bill with regret.

• EDIT AFTER RESTAURANT RESPONSE* I had mentioned that the falafel was rock solid and incredibly dense so wasn't able to be eaten. When you explained the kitchen was overwhelmed with the lunch time rush and offered to take it off the bill, we graciously accepted this offer. We had paid for the meal before even mentioning the fact that the fries were too spicy - we just didn't expect that level of spice on the chipotle sauce having had milder variation elsewhere.
