Worst dining experience I have ever had.

We came here last week on a Wednesday and knew that this place offered frill-free good tasting food. We had been before just over a year ago and had no complaints.

This time was all together different. We ordered a butter chicken main, having had this dish many times before at other restaurants.

It was so sweet, it could have been a dessert. We were sceptical on seeing it, because it was so bright in colour. On this basis, we only tried a little bit of the sauce. Once we realised how sweet it was, we didn't want to eat any more.

The manager came over to ask how the meal was. We told him that everything else we had ordered was delicious, apart from the butter chicken. Because it had not been described as sweet on the menu and because we only had a small amount, we asked that they take it off the bill.

This is where the fun starts. He refused, saying it wasn't his problem that it was not to our taste and he definitely couldn't re-sell it. Sorry - you mean you're not going to flog our second hand butter chicken to the table behind us? Knock a pound off the price, surely they'll have it?

At this point, he has armed crossed and in no particular order, claimed the following:

We were full and had too many poppadoms which is why we didn't want the dish

It was described as sweet on the menu (it wasn't)

I had been in 3-4 weeks ago and complained (hadn't been in over a year as said above)

He said if we wrote a bad review that was untrue, he would sue us (I laughed out loud at the point)

This exchange lasted well over 15mins, to the point where it was embarrassing for us and him in a restaurant that was not empty.

Only after another customer said that that the whole episode was ruining his evening and it was his first time at the restaurant, did he agree to take it off the bill. Frankly, we only persisted because of the succession of ludicrous lies he told about the product and us having been in there before, being full etc...

It wasn't even about the dish in the end. I have never encountered such appalling customer service and will not be recommending anyone visit this restaurant. If you do go, don't order the butter chicken, or just smile and comply if you're asked how...

The first time I ordered from this place and definitely the last! Was told our food would be delivered in an hour and 20 minutes, which we was hesitant about, but we decided to wait for it. Only for us to wait around 3hours for our food to be delivered when we ordered around 5:30pm when the restaurant opened and it was delivered to our house at 8:30!!!

When we rang the restaurant we were told it would be with us within 15/20 mins but it was delivered another 45minutes later. We had young kids waiting for their food but by the time it was delivered they’d fallen asleep!!

We tried negotiating with the restaurant and told them it wasn’t acceptable for us to pay the full price and they initially offered us £3 off our £53 order! A joke😂😂

For the food to arrive freezing cold, soggy and not enjoyable to eat, they agreed for us to pay £40 when we didn’t even want to pay that much! They offered us £13 off our nearly 3 hour late and freezing cold delivery!

How they run their business is not done well either! They accept multiple orders from customers just to get money, and send out the orders at the same time with the only 2 drivers they have, no wonder the food arrives freezing!

Very bad customer service, the food didn’t have no flavour either and was soggy so definitely wouldn’t recommend getting a delivery from this restaurant, and definitely wouldn’t order again from this restaurant. The first and...

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this restaurant. I placed an order at 5:30 pm and was told it would arrive in 1 hour 20 minutes. After THREE HOURS of waiting, it finally arrived at 8:30 pm! My younger children were starving, so I had to cook them something else before the food even showed up.

When I called to check where the driver was, I was told "15 minutes away" – but that turned into another 45 minutes. I was then told the driver was making several other deliveries on the way to my house, which explained why the food arrived stone cold. I had to reheat everything myself, which completely ruined the meal.

To make matters worse, when I asked for a discount, I was initially offered a measly £3 off for a £55 order! After some back and forth, I only managed to get £13 off. By the time the food arrived, my kids had already eaten and were asleep.

This experience was beyond frustrating. Cold food, terrible service, poor communication, and completely disappointing customer care. I won't be ordering from here again—avoid this place...
