Went to celebrate my friend's birthday here. We called to put a reservation but we found the employee abrupt and rude. Since we really wanted to try eat at the restaurant, we didn't make it a big deal. Then she told us we need to put a deposit of £10 per person to hold a reservation which we did. The day came and we arrived at the restaurant. We were still trying to enter the restaurant as it was cold outside and the restaurant was tiny, the one at reception and one waitress was very rude and just shouted at us shut the door and tried to push the door whilst 2 of our friends were still trying to enter the restaurant. We informed them we had the reservation for that time, the staff looked as they didn't know about the booking. The booking was for 12 people but they directed us to be seated in the area where they just put 3 tables together. They looked like they were not prepared for our group reservation. On that day, probably luckily there was 8 of us as 4 of our friends didn't make it. We were also told that we had the table for an hour and 15 minutes whilst the rest of the guests we came in with had at least an hour and 30 mins... We understand that the restaurant could be busy but why the different times of guests and different treatment? We were then seated and given the menus. It was also rude for one of their waitresses to just move one of the tables with another guest without even informing him just to squeeze a group of 8 in 3 tables... yes 3 tables... a tight squeeze for all of us. We were given the menus and not one even bothered to ask us if it was our first time to eat at restaurant. They came to take our orders just after a minute from handing the menus to us. We were not yet able to look at the menu properly that time. Nonetheless, we were still very patient with the crew. We asked them to give us 2 more minutes to organise our orders as it was a group order... Thankfully the young waitress who came back to take our orders had etiquette and had a smile to her face. She was the only person smiling at us whilst the rest of the staff were very rude. The food was not bad. The main thing that put us off was the attitude and the rudeness of the staff, except for the young waitress. Would probably eat at a different branch but would not come back to this branch... The restaurant management should look into improving the staff attitude.

This was an interesting one! I went for dinner with my friends here and I was quite shocked . So they had the front door locked because apparently it doesn’t shut properly so to keep the cold away they kept locking it at so people cannot go in and out constantly. When I went there and tried to open the door because my friend had a reservation, I couldn’t do it, and I found that really strange so had to knock on the window, and the lady said to me I’m coming in a little bit didn’t even open the door . Then, after waiting to be seated, who were taken to this a little corner table right next to another table, which was extremely small, and three 6 foot people could not fit on that little table and have a proper meal. So we asked for another one and they accommodate that and moved us to a bigger table but then that whole front area is super cold because the door kept still being opened and closed all the time they stop blocking it, and it was just freezing the whole time. The food was good, but I would’ve enjoyed it, even more if the place was warm . Is there a drink selection is not that diverse and there’s very little choice . And the cocktails are not that strong and they’re quite diluted so if you like that you would enjoy them, but if you would like a nice strong cocktail this is not the place for it. You’re better off getting a beer or wine. For the amount of money we left there I don’t really see the value in return so I would say a miss.

I’ve been to Rosa’s twice, first time was lovely. Great food, okay service. I then went again last weekend with friends. We’ve not booked a table but there was some space in the back and outside, we were willing to sit outside as we just wanted some food. Went in to ask and was told to wait by the door, I then went back to the door where I stood for maybe half an hour maybe a bit longer. The staff not once came over to check anything. Yes, they were busy but I felt they could’ve taken the time to at least come and sat there isn’t space or the wait will be this long. It was just them clearly looking at me, seeing me and not even acknowledging I was there. I even had the door closed on me whilst updating my friends in the situation (they were waiting outside) - it was chilly so I’m not too offended but she clearly saw me standing there waiting. The food really is great- I’ve not had a better Thai in the UK but I’m just so disappointed in the service that I’m not sure I want to go back or recommend to people.

We arrived at 9:30pm on the 22nd April 2025 , well aware of the closing time at 10:30, and politely asked if it was still possible to have dinner. The waitress, visibly annoyed by our mere presence, rolled her eyes and reluctantly said yes, first mentioning they closed in an hour—then correcting herself to 45 minutes. We accepted without hesitation, not wanting to inconvenience anyone. No table was offered, so we seated ourselves near the entrance.

From that point on, we felt invisible. She walked away and began cleaning, making no effort to acknowledge us. Knowing what we wanted, we tried several times to catch her attention, but she seemed to go out of her way to avoid eye contact. When we finally managed to order food and drinks, the service was rushed and indifferent—the drinks were carelessly made, bearing little resemblance to the pictures.

To be fair, the food arrived promptly and was genuinely good. We ate quickly, not wanting to overstay. Ironically, the only moment she showed any warmth was when presenting the bill, thanking us as if eager to conclude the evening.

Sadly, while the food stood out, the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome. No one should feel like a burden simply for choosing to dine at your establishment.

Must had that she was pleasant to the customers leaving...
