If 5/5 is perfect, then 4/5 is suitable for this place. The staff were very helpful and very friendly and provided us with amenities when we asked for them. The room doesn't come with a teeth care kit (brush, paste etc.) But when asked, they provided us with them and an extra pillow also. I ordered a king room, but was bumped up to a deluxe room due to it being my wife's and I anniversary which was a nice touch by them. I didn't expect it and it was a very nice gesture. Upon my request when I made the booking, they decorated the bed with swan towels and fake flower petals for our anniversary and provided a bottle of wine. The room was clean and tidy, nothing to complain about at all in that respect. We had a BRITA water filter in the tap for fresh water, a small fridge with just carton milks and a tea/coffee station and a kettle. Again, very clean, nothing to complain about. The decor was also very nice and classy. The room also came with a safe and a hairdryer with a good amount of plug sockets. Two large mirrors on the back of the doors of the closet which was spacious. The bathroom was one of the nicest I've seen. Super clean and looked stunning and everything worked great. The hotel made me feel safe in having a card scanner in the elevator where you need a valid room key to even go up or down. It's a very nice touch and should become mandatory in all hotels. Now for things I felt they could improve on/add which would give them 5 stars from me: The room lacked an instruction booklet or manual or welcome package which would have helped a lot with the below points I'm going to make. There are a lot of light switches around the room, like a lot. And I have no idea still what any of them do/control. The lights themselves weren't very bright and getting dressed in the evening was a bit of a pain as the 3 spotlights where the closet was weren't bright at all. The bed was huge, however, not very comfortable. The mattress sunk in many places like a sand dune and was quite hard to sleep on. The pillows also were flat and hard that I had to ask for more so I could double stack. No instructions for the aircon which would have been helpful as it was cold at times and I had to sit there and play with the controls until I got it right. The TV entertainment system was very very dated and offered little options. It had basic Freeview channels, however, no programme information so I turned on ITV and had no idea what was on... Very annoying. No movie channels or the ability to use Netflix or anything like that, again having experienced other hotels which had these functions, this disappointed me a little. The phone next to the bed has a small screen that during the night kept me awake due to the brightness of it. Had to cover it with my own phone. Would be nice if the light turned off automatically.

Title: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of London I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Resident SoHo Hotel during my visit to London, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Tucked away from the bustling city, this hotel strikes the perfect balance between central location and tranquility. The rooms, though compact, are thoughtfully designed and come equipped with a mini kitchen area, offering a delightful touch for those who appreciate a cozy space with the convenience of preparing their own refreshments. The complimentary tea and coffee provided added a homely feel to my stay. What sets The Resident SoHo apart is undoubtedly its exceptional staff. Throughout my visit, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was not only comfortable but truly delightful. Their attentiveness and eagerness to assist created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel like a valued guest. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily happy hour at 6:00pm—a charming touch that added a social element to the experience. It provided an excellent opportunity to unwind and connect with fellow guests in a relaxed setting. I highly recommend becoming a member to take advantage of the 15% discount on bookings. This added perk makes The Resident SoHo Hotel not only a luxurious escape but also a budget-friendly option for those who appreciate quality accommodation. In conclusion, The Resident SoHo Hotel has become my go-to choice whenever I'm in London. Its central yet peaceful location, well-appointed rooms, attentive staff, and delightful perks make it a hidden gem in the heart of the city.

Our recent stay at The Resident Hotel - London Soho exceeded our expectations in more ways than one. Situated in an amazing location, this hotel proved to be a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the vibrant city of London and its iconic landmarks. The prime location of The Resident Hotel - London Soho made it a perfect choice for us. Its walkability to popular attractions such as Les Miserables, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace allowed us to immerse ourselves in the heart of London's vibrant culture effortlessly. It was an absolute delight to have so many of the city's favorite landmarks within easy reach. The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the hotel's friendly and accommodating staff. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warm smiles and were always ready to assist with any need we had. Their attentive service and helpful recommendations added an extra layer of comfort and made us feel truly valued as guests. The Resident Hotel in SoHo, London, is a true gem that offers an unforgettable experience. From its prime location to the exceptional staff, it's a place where you can create lasting memories. During our stay, we discovered a perfect park within walking distance, which added to the charm of this already delightful hotel.

Nestled in the heart of SoHo, The Resident offers the perfect starting point for exploring the vibrant streets of London. As you step out of the hotel, you are immediately immersed in the dynamic atmosphere of SoHo, with its bustling cafes, boutique shops, and a rich tapestry of cultural diversity. The lively surroundings ensure you'll forget that you are miles away from home.

One of the highlights of our stay was discovering the serene park nearby. A short walk from the hotel, this green oasis is the ideal spot to sit on a wooden bench and enjoy the surroundings. The park exudes a welcoming ambiance, with people playing ping pong and tossing a frisbee, creating a wholesome, friendly atmosphere that allows you to immerse yourself in local life. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London, a peaceful refuge amidst the urban jungle.

However, what truly sets The Resident Hotel apart is its exceptional staff. The entire team is remarkable, always ready to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. We wish we could call out everyone by name because each staff member played their part in making our stay outstanding.

One staff member, in particular, stood out during our entire stay: Pablo. He was the shining star of our experience at The Resident. From the moment we checked in, Pablo's warmth and professionalism were evident. His dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was unparalleled. He not only assisted with our check-in but also provided invaluable recommendations for local dining and entertainment options. His knowledge of the area and genuine concern for our well-being truly made our stay exceptional.

Pablo's personalized service and warm hospitality transformed a good hotel experience into a memorable one. He is a testament to the kind of service that makes travelers feel welcomed and valued. It's experiences like these that leave an indelible mark on guests, ensuring that they will return and recommend The Resident Hotel to friends and family.

In conclusion, The Resident Hotel in SoHo, London, is a haven of comfort and excellence. With its prime location in the heart of SoHo, the beautiful nearby park, and the exceptional staff, it offers a truly memorable experience. If you're looking for a place to stay in London where you'll feel like a welcomed guest rather than just a traveler, The Resident Hotel is the perfect choice. And, thanks to outstanding individuals like Pablo, your stay is bound to be nothing short of...

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Soho close to everything. Having stayed in all the 4 and 5 star hotels in the area the service, attention to detail, and friendliness of staff is by far the best experienced.

So often in London you book a hotel and its tired, the service is shocking, and its overpriced. This is a great value hotel.

The Resident Soho provides exactly what it says it does - comfortable rooms at good value price points (for London) and service which is so friendly and helpful that you have to double check you are actually in a London hotel.

Rooms are well maintained, clearly regularly checked for maintenance, and as per other reviews on the rare occassion something goes wrong the staff here resolve it quickly - something that is once again rare in London.

As a previous regular guest of places like the Ritz, Piccadilly, Hilton Walforf, Cafe Royal, Soho Hotel, Firmdale Hotels, it may seem strange that the Resident Soho is now my hotel of choice in London - but this is the hotel only where I find you get exactly what is offered with no issues, wonderful service, clean & comfy rooms, in a great spot.

I hope management share my review with the team as from Pablo on reception, to the maintenance crew, to the friendly smiling cleaners you encounter in the hallways this is by far the friendliest and most reliable service I've had in London.

A special shout out to the housekeeping team - again, never seen such spotlessly clean and well maintained rooms. There are hotels at a much higher level which deliver far inferior cleanliness to you.

I have just one suggestion - a soft/accent/arm chair in the Superior Rooms would be a nice addition I think.

For guests be aware there are various room types of different sizes (some quite small and cost effective). However, they are super clear on their website about what sizes the rooms are with clear photos - again, unlike other hotels in London they are honest. If space is important to you, choose a Superior or above.

Thank you for another great stay, and I hope to...
