Sam's Chicken — Restaurant in London

I stopped at this HOUNSLOW WEST restaurant after seeing the image of the GRILLED THIGH DOUBLE BURGER in the window. Mihiri welcomed me with a beautiful smile and very kind manners. I felt really comfortable. I asked her if it was possible to eat in the restaurant, and she said yes. After a few minutes my double burger was ready. It was truly magnificent!!! The flavor was truly intense and exquisite. The chicken in the burger was juicy and meaty. After devouring my double burger (which would have satiated anyone!!!) I wanted to get another burger. Identical. I congratulated Juliya, who takes care of the preparation of the burgers in the kitchen. Then I also chatted pleasantly with the manager. In my short break at SAM'S in Hounslow West, I found some truly wonderful people. I did really well to decide to stop here for my lunch. I'm fully satisfied and can say that after being treated well, my day has improved a lot. So I thank the two girls, Mihiri and Juliya, the manager and his wife for the wonderful working environment they have created. In conclusion...I recommend this place both for the excellent burgers and the excellent chicken they prepare, but also and above all for the human aspect of the people who work. The first thing I noticed when I came into the restaurant was the limited seating - 6 chairs facing the high street. I decided to order the Blaze Burger box meal, it looked so delicious on the photo and I wanted something spicy. It looked like the perfect choice.

I sat down and I realised the table was dirty, had crumbs all over. I had to wipe it with tissue. I don’t believe they clean the surface very often.

The food arrived quickly. I started to tuck into the “blaze” burger, but by the 2nd bite I realised it wasn’t even spicy. Slightly cold even!! The chicken fillet was incredibly flat, some parts of the fillet had barely any meat at all (see photos).

Now onto the wings, those were the highlight of the meal. A delicious flavour on the batter, although a little oily, but not too bad. Chips were fine, large portion. The coleslaw was average, it was quite watery.

At £6.00 (not including a drink) I feel the price is very expensive for the low quality of food. I can’t help but feel disappointed.

As a delivery partner, I’ve worked with many restaurants, but Same Chicken has been one of the worst by far.

The staff have no respect for delivery drivers. They act like we’re a problem instead of part of the process. Most of the time, the food isn’t even ready when I arrive — I’ve waited 20–30 minutes just standing there while they ignore me completely.

No communication, no courtesy. Sometimes they hand over the wrong orders or don’t pack the food properly, and we get blamed by the customers for their mistakes.

The place is chaotic, unorganized, and they clearly don’t care about the drivers or the customers. They treat us like we’re disposable.

If you’re a delivery partner, avoid Same Chicken if you can. It’s not worth your time,...
