Sam Sandwiches is a well priced Algerian street food spot next to Sheperds Bush Market. You can access it via one of the entraces to Sheperds Bush Market or through a narrow alley off Uxbridge Road (turn right on Lime Grove). It is an unassuming location, seating four to six people.

Sam Sandwiches menu is simple with five meats to choose from, including lamb’s liver, merguez, marinated chicken, and a fish fillet. There are also traditional dishes including tangine.

The hero sandwich is the Sam's Merguez Sandwich (£5.00) which combines spiced sausage, potatoes, egg and a choice of a spicy sauce. Every sandwich is served in a thick pita bread that is grilled giving it a crunchy in the outside, moist in the inside consistency. The Merguez Sandwich is a joy - full of flavour, stuffed and large enough to be superb value.

The service provided by Sam, the owner and chef is cordial and friendly. Bite for bite, Sam Sandwiches offers the best priced, best tasting sandwiches in London. Keep in mind Sam Sandwiches is a cash only...

Tucked away from the frantic energy of Shepherd's Bush Market, you'll find a true culinary sanctuary: Sam's Sandwiches. This cozy, 'hole-in-the-wall' spot is a breath of fresh air, and it's all powered by one man's passion. Watching Sam work is like watching an artist. He's a one-man army, meticulously crafting each sandwich one order at a time. You can see the love and care he puts into the preparation, and that dedication shines through in every bite. This isn't just fast food; it's a genuine labor of love. The food itself is fantastic, but what truly sets Sam's apart is the unbelievable value. The prices feel like they belong to a past era, offering a level of quality and portion size that is simply insane for the cost. In a city where everything feels overpriced, Sam's Sandwiches is a refreshing reminder that great food and great value can still go hand-in-hand. If you're in the area and looking for a delicious, affordable, and genuinely heartfelt meal, seek out Sam's Sandwiches. You won't be...

I’d seen Sam’s Sandwiches recommended in a couple of places and finally decided to visit for lunch on a Friday. For those who haven’t been, it is worth taking a walk around Shepherd’s Bush Market en route to the restaurant.

It is a small place with 4 seats along a counter and a single 2-seater table. We were the only ones there. Not being too hungry the 2 of us shared a merguez sandwich. This is served in a type of pita bread and the sausage is accompanied by a mix of potato, egg and salad. It was quite a flavourful combo and I the (heated) bread itself was pretty good too. The quantity was not that big for sharing but I imagined I would have been quite full if I consumed a whole sandwich.

We paid £7 for our lunch which seemed reasonable. Note the venue is cash only. Overall I wouldn’t say I was blown away and think it may have been hyped up a bit by certain sources, but nonetheless a decent quality sandwich at a sensible price. I would return if...
