This happen few months back but couldn’t find the name of this place because they’re called “perfect friend chicken” with a tiny name “shamim” at the top. I’ll never forget how disgusting the food was. I’ve tried this place for a few years and this certain day I went I took my 2 year old and sister with me and my 2 year old really wanted chips and it took staff 50 mins to give me my meal, it was 2 cheese burgers and wings and chips meal. The guy serving had a chip(figure of speech) on his shoulder and was very rude, poor customer service. Anyway we left the shop and I gave my child a chip but the chip wasn’t piping hot (if it was fresh and straight out of the oil it would be VERY hot to touch even) but my child had about 5 and I went home and had my food so did my husband and sister. We all agreed the wings and chips didn’t taste right so we all stopped eating, anyway few hours later my child was crying and telling me her tummy hurt but fell asleep, my husband was letting out fireworks in the toilet and then i threw up and had food poisoning for 3 days. My child woke up randomly at 3am and wasn’t acting like herself and refused milk, she went back to bed and was throwing up while half asleep, everything that came out was chips she continued to throw up every half hour for that entire day, was taken to a&e and stayed overnight as doctors confirmed it was food poisoning. The next day my sister rang me and told me she couldn’t get to work because she had diarrhea and was also throwing up. A doctor also confirmed she too had food poisoning. So everyone who reads this AVOID AVOID AVOID. This place nearly put my child in intensive care, they have poor food hygiene and the food quality is a 0 in my defence. How does a perfectly healthy child go from being well and then ending up in hospital from a meal they most likely re fried? I have been going here for years and so have other family members who live nearby who also stopped due to always ending up in the toilet or throwing up after eating from this PFC. 🤢🤢😒 (The owners can deny this as much as they want but I know what PFC it was as I only went to this one throughout the last 3 years and I’m 100% not confused) owners should admit to the wrong instead of trying to shift the blame because I have proof and evidence they are not clean 🤢 seen someone smoking whilst making the food and another that...
Read moreI have to say, I don't know what happened on that day. But the standard really really dropped. We ended up waiting for 40 mins to get a few wing meals and kebab. And there were about four guys in the back doing God knows what. The main guys were concentrated with serving the resturant that's connected to the pfc and no attention were given to our meals. And when we had received our meals, the wings were very small, chips were soggy and drenched in oil. The kebab gave us stomach problems also. This was the worst pfc experience I've ever had. Moreover, they gave us red sauce in a plastic cup and when we opened it, it had no flavour, we were literally pouring out red flavoured water out the cup with some garlic in it. It was just horrendous. Everything I have said here is the...
Read moreMy go-to late-night gaff after a long slog at work. Proper spot this, no muckin’ about. Their Meal 13 – Lamb Kebab and Chips is my absolute go-to, and it never disappoints.
The lamb doner kebab is always freshly prepared, packed with flavor, and perfectly complemented by the fried onions, tomatoes, and mixed herbs. The combination creates a rich, mouthwatering taste that sets it apart from the average kebab. It’s served with a fresh salad, crispy fries, and a can of soft drink, making it a satisfying meal that hits the spot every time.
Whether it’s the consistency in quality, the generous portions, or just the comfort of knowing I’ll get a great meal after a long day, Shamim’s remains my top choice for a late-night bite....
