Worst experience. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Staff member was rude. Despicable attitude when i was asking a few questions. Immediately put me off!

I came with my family members, and I had requested the staff to give is the booth as we had 6/7 people. He refused to give it to us because 'it would take time to clean up the table'. Even though the entire restaurant was empty, we could have sat anywhere really, but I insisted for the booth, eventually he cleaned it up for us.

Cash only - they only pick and choose who can pay by cash and who by card.

They wouldn't allow us to split the bill because, and i quote, 'it will take us too long'..... they had no customers!!!! They had all the time in the world!!!!!

We requested tap water. They bought us 6 glasses and a jug of water. The glasses smelt sooooo bad, my sister moved the glasses to another table. The bad smell of the glasses had actually made us gag. We had asked the staff member for cleaner glasses, where his response was 'The cloth hasn't been washed for many days, that's why the glasses smell. If i bring new glasses, they will smell the same'. We had no new glasses. We had no drinking water. It was shocking he had admitted to us that they use dirty cloth to wipe their glasses!!!! Disgusting!

3 of us had ordered burger meals. To hold the burgers together, a bamboo/skewer stick was used. So what happened was, a long skewer stick was broken in half, and each half was used to hold 2 burgers. The broken side of the skewer stick was inside the burger. My sister took a bite of the burger, and she had bitten a splinter which had almost cut her tongue! I've added picture to show how large the splinters were! If she had swallows the splinter, or bit it harder, she could have seriously...

I ordered two hotdog and one burger meal via UberEats but chose to collect as I was close by and there was an offer on it. The app said it was ready for collection but when I got there I found that no one was at the till. I had to wave someone down from the kitchen who said it will be another five minutes. Whilst waiting two other eat in customers came up and asked if their food was ready. Not a good sign. 20 minutes later my food was ready. I paid £2 extra per item to make my two hotdogs and burger into meals. The guy at the till packed everything and I asked what about the drinks noticing that it's not there. He goes 'no drinks no drinks'. I said 'but I ordered a meal?' totally confused. He goes there's no drinks with the meal just chips and rushed back into the kitchen! I was baffled and left as I didn't want to cause a scene.

When I got home I was fuming at the experience. I mean who pays £2 for just chips? A meal includes chips and drink. I could've got two whole meals including chips and drink from the chicken shops that are next door for the £6 I paid altogether for just chips!

The reason I didn't give a one star and their saving grace is that the food...

Do not eat here!!!!!Decided to eat here upon recommendations from others and wish i hadnt!!!! The seating is downstairs and smelt damp and parts of the decor were falling apart. The seats were covered in dust. I shouldve trusted my initial instincts and walked out but thought id give them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered a platter of wings in 3 flavours. The garlic ones smelt off from the get-go but we decided to eat the rest and they were ok. We also ordered fries and a burger, which were fine. When we asked the waiter why the garlic wings smelt like that, he replied that he has a cold so he couldnt smell it but from what he could smell they smelt like they had gone off in their van, when the meat came from the suppliers. Imagine our shock and dismay when he said this....he even discounted the meal by £2 as though this made any sort of difference. They knew the wings were off and yet they still served them. There are a million restaurants better than this...dont waste your money on this menu when you can have better elsewhere.

Oh and btw do not go by the pictures when you Google it because they are deceiving!!!!!! The place smells damp...
