I had quite a disappointing experience at SHOT Knightsbridge. First, the staff appeared to be absolutely clueless — though I believe this is more a reflection of poor training from higher management rather than the staff themselves. Proper training should have been provided before opening a branch in such a prestigious location.
Upon arrival, I asked if there was a table for two. I was told there was no availability upstairs but space was available downstairs, and I was advised to "go down." Upon reaching the downstairs area, I noticed it was fairly busy. The only available table had coffee stains on it, and no one came to clean it. I waited, assuming a staff member might come down to provide menus or take orders — as that would have been a logical approach. However, no one came. While I wasn’t too bothered by this, as I understand it’s a coffee spot, it still reflects poor customer service.
Eventually, I went back upstairs to place my order. The ordering process was fine, but the area was quite cramped. After being seated for around 30 minutes, a staff member finally came downstairs and asked if I wanted to order — despite the fact that I had already placed my order. This clearly highlighted the lack of table management and communication among staff.
When the coffees eventually arrived, I was disappointed to find that my coffee was only slightly warm and not hot as it should have been. The froth looked as though it had been sitting upstairs for about five minutes before being brought down. In contrast, my friend’s coffee appeared fresh.
The reason this review is 2 stars and not 1 is because the taste of the coffee was "okay" — not great, but not terrible either. Given that SHOT markets itself as a "speciality coffee" spot, I expected much better. The coffee had a slight burnt texture, and to be honest, it tasted only marginally better than Pret A Manger, which is disappointing for a place positioned as a higher-end coffee experience. That being said, this may have just been a one-off experience and might not reflect what others experience on a different day.
I strongly recommend that SHOT management provide better training for their staff and implement proper standard operating procedures (SOPs) before opening branches in high-end locations like Knightsbridge. This would significantly improve customer experience and prevent issues like those I...
Read moreHow is this place even allowed to call itself a coffee shop? As a seasoned coffee enthusiast who’s explored cafés across London and beyond, I can confidently say this was one of the worst coffee experiences I’ve ever had.
The coffee I was served was shockingly watered down, completely lacking in depth, body, or any form of craftsmanship—especially for the price point. I also ordered a pistachio cheesecake that was still frozen solid, with visible ice crystals on it. It clearly came straight out of a freezer—nothing fresh about it.
The staff were inexperienced and uninformed. When I asked about different coffee options on the menu, not a single person was able to explain them or offer any meaningful recommendation. There was zero understanding of coffee or service.
I visited several specialty cafés during my time in London, and SHOT London stands out as the single biggest disappointment. It’s not a coffee shop—it’s a poorly disguised social hangout, more of a dating hub for a very specific crowd than a serious coffee establishment.
Their claims of being a renowned café are laughable. The quality—of both product and service—is abysmal. If you care at all about real coffee culture, do yourself a favour and avoid this place entirely. There’s no authenticity, no craft, and no respect for what...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a coffee in London, and I can confidently say it was a top-tier experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or simply relaxing with a good book.
The coffee? Absolutely outstanding. Each cup was brewed to perfection, rich in flavor, and served with impeccable attention to detail. The baristas clearly take pride in their craft, and their passion shines through in every sip.
A special thanks to Khaled, who made the experience even more memorable. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and knowledge of the menu truly stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure that I left with a smile and a perfectly tailored coffee recommendation.
Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just someone looking for a cozy spot in the heart of London, this café is not to be missed. I’ll definitely...
