Read moreThis shop used to be excellent and for almost two decades had a reputation for great quality chicken. Me and few friends had been going there for many years but it was sold a few years ago to new owners.
New owners have messed it up completely. The chicken quality has dropped significantly. The sauces are cheap and processed tasting (the complete opposite of what they used to be). Service, wait times for food is slow and staff are unprofessional. Price to quality ratio is very poor. Chips were not cooked properly and lacked salt. Burger tasted awful and felt like it’d been in the display for more than 24 hrs, chicken pieces not good quality.
They have messed up what once was a perfect recipe. The new owners are definitely cutting corners on quality whilst still charging a high price.

The service was poor , I attended the shop yesterday with my visually impaired ( blind ) brother to get some food before his long train back out of London , we went in with his guide dog and was bluntly refused entry , we pointed out it’s a working dog and you have to allow entry , the owner said I don’t care I don’t want the dog in here leave it outside and bluntly refused us out of the shop , this is actually breaking the law and awareness needs to be brought to this owner and his chicken shop , we will also be reporting this to guide dogs charity as it’s completely unacceptable and discrimination against my brother and his disability.
