Host event no problem. Thinking of staying in the Suites? Your best bet is a Days Inn and much cheaper. The staff and the manager are very apathetic. In the middle of Spring, my room's AC was broken and you can't open the windows. The manager simply quipped, "well we don't have anyone for maintenance on the weekend. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL" This is basically a club with some rooms. Sadly, management's attitude is that gives them an excuse to be subpar in terms of paying guests. I travel a lot and I have never had a hotel manager accuse of being incompetent at using their facilities.
The place itself is very clean. The building is practically new. The breakfast is is your basic continental fare with some fresh fruit. Best oatmeal you will ever have. So what's not to love? Well, frankly the front desk management's "it's totally not my problem attitude". Different dietary needs were carefully catered for. The football table was particularly popular in the first part of the evening. We were able to enjoy dancing with our own jazz band that we brought in on the black and white chequerboard floor in the main Euston room. We found it was best to come over to the venue in advance to go through everything to make sure that it was all as we anticipated and expected. A great team - and thank you...
Read moreStrange inspirational conference come hotel building on the edge of Euston square. It's home to the GPs headquarters of Great Britain. There is a permanent background exhibition in the reception and cafe area. Quotes from famous people line the cases and walls. Once past this entry lobby and seating you enter a curious warren of cuboid glass meeting pods where small groups hold workshops and training sessions. The in house catering for these is if a very high healthy standard. Whether it's cold snacks or a sit down hot buffet upstairs, service is quiet, gracious and of the strictly discreet kind. Might drop in another time for a...
