In summary, this coffee shop was freezing, had absolutely no atmosphere, and smelled strongly of old mops.

I might as well have sat outside, it was cold so cold. The single member of staff there was carrying a hot water bottle in her efforts to warm up.

There was no music and no other customers so she and I sat in silence for the 45 minutes or so I was there.

The cafe is small and dainty you would not think there were a few sitting area inside. Despite that the coffee was great it’s the best so far in Surbiton. I had a cappuccino and it was smooth and with a bit of kick, which I like. I also had a pistachio and hazelnut Sfogliatelle and they were nice too.
