Tabaq Chicken and Pizza — Restaurant in London

Appalling customer service!

My visit to Tabaq Chicken and Pizza which ended less than an hour and a half ago was the most horrible experience I’ve ever seen. I had visited the shop with 3 children and a young adult of 17 years old, and during our visit we had encountered a mentally troubled delivery man who was harassing all of the customers, including ourselves. The troubled man was in the shop for about 25 mins, and in that time he had instigated a number of issues with the customers in the shop. Although the staff were aware of this, they barely did anything in their power, except give him food, to prevent the man from bothering the customers. Despite this, I had noticed that the environment in the shop had quickly become hostile during an altercation between the troubled man and another male customer and I felt it was not safe for the children I was with. As a result I requested a take away bag in order to leave the shop immediately. However, as I was at the counter requesting for a plastic bag, the man had taken it upon himself to talk to the children and the 17 year old which IMMEDIATELY infuriated me. Once again, the staff delayed the removal of the man from the shop until AFTER he had threatened the children’s by saying “it’s okay if they are children, I can be a child too” and blocked off the exit in which we wanted to leave. It was not until after the situation has escalated into becoming borderline physical that the staff had fully stepped in. This behaviour is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! It is the responsibility of the staff to ensure that the safety of their customers are protected while they are in the premise, particularly where there is children involved, however, the staff had unfortunately neglected to do so. As a result of the fear in which the children and the young 17 year old had suffered due to the lack of adequate customer service of Tabaq Chicken and Pizza, I will be contacting the owner effective immediately and will also be requesting information on the troubled delivery man which has started...

Avoid at all costs.

Just because they are cheap, does not mean they are any good.

My partner and I have caught food poisoning from this place before. The chicken was undercooked, pizza overcooked.

The staff violate every single hygiene policy and regulation possible. I have witnessed the staff wipe the tables with the same cloth they wipe the seats with and drop on the floor to re-use rather than get a fresh one on the furniture your expected to sit and consume your food at.

Your better off spending abit extra next door at Morely's. Quality of food, customer service and hygiene standards there are better.

Tabaq is only in business because of the cheap price range and college kids are the main customers. This place needs to shut down...

I recently visited tabaqs chicken shop and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The chicken burgers were terrible—undercooked, dry, and completely lacking in flavor. The shop itself was dirty, with tables and floors that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. To top it off, the owner was rude and dismissive when I raised concerns. I won't be returning and definitely don't recommend this place. If you value your organ system, I would recommend taking two steps to the left and going to Morley’s where their chicken is crispy and perfectly cooked, with friendly owners and employees unlike tabaqs where the owner was very mean.
