Taste of India — Restaurant in London

Havnt been here in a few months, we returned tonight for dinner & sadly we was extremely disappointed. We had always had a nice experience here all round but this time the food was terrible, tasteless, chewy meat & dry. Onion Bhaji was chewy burnt onion, chicken tikka was chewy & the mains Bhuna & Korma had barely any sauce to it. The naan bread was buttery & didn’t seem fresh. The service was sadly very poor too, we was never asked how everything was considering we had said the starters were bad. When we told him at the end that we didn’t enjoy it & just wanted to give him feedback, he was very dismissive & even humiliated us by saying was we too full up to enjoy the whole meal. We was not offered any complimentary drink (baileys/brandy) I know this is not important but I have been to quite a few Indian restaurants and have always had been offered! This just shows how poor the customer service is. I wouldn’t return anymore and wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for dinner. Lastly, I felt as though I was robbed for my money! Paid £64 for 2 soft drinks, 2 starters, 2 meat dishes, 1 rice & 2 naan...

Ordered online for home delivery and when our order arrived not for the first time the order was not correct first time chapattis were missing the 2nd time the samosa shoiluld of been meat but were vegetable then tonight ordered 2x chicken bhuna and recieved 2x chicken korma and when I phoned to complain I asked for the manager but was told I was speaking to him but if he was the manager he was very rude about the mistake and blamed the driver I can't see how the driver could have made the mistake as the rest of our order was correct . Now have to wait for the correct curry to arrive which means the rest of our order has gone cold and they won't replace the complete order and we could give back the original order . I think this shows poor customer service and we won't be using them ever again as they show no remorse for there mistakes or offer any form of discount...

Called this evening to Taste of India and ordered a lamb saag gosht, mushroom rice and a Coke.

(I always ordered this) When order arrived. The restaurant forgot to bring the coke. The kind delivery guy went and got me a Coke.

When opening my food, this is what I received. A tomato base dish.

I spoke to the delivery driver and he mentioned I speak with the manager!

I called the restaurant to let them know. The manager approach was very rude and basically called me a liar and said I didn’t order this dish and had asked for this tomato dish!

Frustrated, I put down the phone as he was not listening to what I was saying and basically told me I was lying

My family and I have been customers for over 25 years due to a rude manger . The customer service was shocking this evening. I will never be returning again and i will not be recommending this...
