Taste of Tennessee — Restaurant in London

I came here last year just before Xmas, and I was so dissapointed by everything that I wasn’t sure if I could leave a review while that feeling was fresh. I gave it some time to actually calm down and try to give them a chance, but everytime I think about the place, the memories of how horrific the experience was makes the trauma that I experienced feel fresh again. I simply felt violated and robbed.

Upon arrival, I was stuck waiting about 10-15 mins because one guy wanted to stay at the back, a woman was reloading the wings and the other guy was just talking on the phone… each and every one of them expecting someone else to serve me. After a few more customers came in, the guy on the phone played stupid, like he just noticed customers waiting… and then decided to serve the guy behind me as he was a regular/local. I ordered a simple chicken wings and chips meal as I had a short lunch break (and they wasted half of it by leaving me standing) and the guy charged me just for chips. I didn’t realise as I payed with Apple Pay and I was already annoyed by then. When it came, he bagged it up and said bye. I asked where’s my drink. He replied how much extra it was. I then realised he only gave me chips. The meal was £5.99 but he charged me for the remainder to get the meal, which totalled to £6.00! I mean, 1 pence is nothing. But he kept me waiting, he took my order incorrectly, then had the cheek to charge me 1p more! With such a lame service, I would expect some sort of compensation! That’s not the end of it though. I asked them for the fork and tissue (which they should have given already). I specifically asked for a plastic fork as I don’t like using the wooden ones. The plastic fork he gave me looked used and poorly washed!

I simply have no words for how traumatic the experience was. I don’t know how they are still in business. It was my first time there and obviously my last time too. Absolutely disgusting.

The food was also over cooked. The best part of the meal was the drink (no credit to them for it) and they also didn’t have the flavour I wanted. A couple months after the visit, I still feel this is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a food place… and it would probably take someone to physically attack me to beat how bad this...

The name made me curious, especially the sweet chicken on the logo. I saw the chef behind the counter and his smile let me come in. The special offers on the menu convinced me to order two Strip burgers and the special offer A. The combination of the nice service and the delicious food made my stay in London wonderful. I expected the taste of KFC but TFC excelled it easily. After a great conversation with the chef we made a photo with him. I ate there at least three times during my five days long stay and on the last day he even gave us ten pieces of chicken and a portion of fries for free! He wanted to offer us free drinks as well but we couldn’t accept that. In contrast to other fast food chains TFC made my stomach full despite the low prices.

I will visit him on my next trip to London. TFC changed my life.

Bro... I went in the other day. The guy was eating. I ordered a burger, he didn't wash his hands before hamdling my food. While he was waiting for the patties to be done, he was on the phone... and carried on eating. Two more customers came in, then he finally put on his chef hat. I went there before but its the first time I pay attention to this. Food hygiene standard is low. I am not...
