Vice City GTA-Inspired Eatery
Overview Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting a Vice City GTA-inspired restaurant that left quite an impression. The menu featured a delightful array of treats, including cookie dough waffles, smash burgers, chicken burgers, and fries (available in lemon pepper, loaded, or with melted cheese), and milkshakes. The establishment boasts extended hours until 3 AM and is fully halal.
The Meal We opted for a meal that included a milkshake, fries, and a burger. For an additional £2, I upgraded to the "Beef Me Up" burger. The fries were served fresh, straight out of the fryer, and maintained an excellent crispness.
Waffle Experience For dessert, I indulged in a strawberry waffle topped with Belgian melted chocolate. The presentation was top-notch, though I did detect a slight off-taste suggesting some residue in the waffle maker prior to cooking my order.
Burgers and Fries The triple beef burger was a highlight, bursting with juiciness and flavor. My first experience with a smash burger was equally impressive, characterized by the delightful crispiness of the thin patties. The overall flavor and texture were outstanding.
Milkshake I absolutely loved the Kinder Bueno milkshake. It struck the perfect balance of sweetness and richness, making it a standout part of the meal.
Service and Ambiance The service was impeccable, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was enhanced by its unique interior design and great music, featuring Afrobeats that added to the lively atmosphere. While GTA5 gameplay was displayed on the screens, my preference leans towards GTA Vice City, given its 80s vibe, which would fit the theme perfectly.
Final Thoughts This Vice City-inspired eatery successfully combines great food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere. With extended hours and a fully halal menu, it’s an ideal spot for late-night cravings. While there are minor areas for improvement, such as ensuring the waffle maker is thoroughly cleaned, the overall experience was highly enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the thematic nods to the GTA series, and a switch to Vice City gameplay would enhance the nostalgic feel...
Read moreI’ve only ever ordered Rowdy Burgers through Uber Eats, but every single time, the quality has been spot on. The fries are always perfectly crispy, never soggy, never underdone just how fries should be. And the burgers? Absolutely to die for. Juicy, flavorful, and exactly as described. You can tell care goes into the packaging too, everything arrives fresh, well presented, and intact.
Special shoutout to the Oreo milkshake, it’s dangerously good.
I’ve been ordering since their Greenwich days and now from the Lewisham location because it’s closer, and the consistency in quality and service has never dropped. I really hope it stays this way, because Rowdy Burgers is easily one of the best burger spots around....
Read moreI regularly order from here whenever I’m in the area but decided to go in and order today, which was a great idea! The owner was so lovely and we didn’t have to wait too long at all. I usually get their chicken tenders and chips but today I fancied the chicken and rice and I’m so glad I tried it because it was AMAZING! Perfect flavours and generous quantity! I also ordered the tenders and chips as well as our regular lotus biscoff waffle and they tasted just as great as always. I will definitely be collecting orders from now on as prices are great and will be recommending to all my friends and family...
