On the occasion of my wife's birthday, I decided to make it truly special by treating her to a delightful English breakfast at Terry's Cafe in London. The experience turned out to be an absolute gem, leaving us with cherished memories that we'll hold onto.

From the moment I stepped into Terry's Cafe, I was greeted by an inviting and cozy atmosphere. The rustic yet modern decor, coupled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, set the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The warm and comfortable ambiance made us feel right at home.

As I patiently waited in the queue, I couldn't resist the temptation to sample their Mocha. And oh my, what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The Mocha I tried was hands down the best I've ever had. The harmonious blend of rich chocolate and robust coffee was a true indulgence for the senses. It was a sneak peek into the culinary excellence that awaited us.

Once seated, we were fortunate to be hosted by Kacey, who provided us with top-notch service that elevated our visit to a whole new level. Her genuine warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch to our experience. Kacey's knowledge of the menu and her recommendations helped us navigate the choices and make the most of our breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast, the English breakfast at Terry's Cafe was an absolute masterpiece. Every element on the plate was a testament to careful preparation and culinary expertise. The flavors danced in perfect harmony, and each bite was a delightful journey for the palate. It's safe to say that the breakfast was not just a meal; it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

What truly stood out during our visit was the seamless blend of great food and exceptional service. Terry's Cafe managed to strike the delicate balance between offering an amazing menu and delivering it with genuine care and attention. The combination of delectable food, attentive service by Kacey, and the cozy ambiance created an unforgettable dining experience.

In conclusion, if you're seeking a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a remarkable meal, Terry's Cafe in London is the destination of choice. The delightful food, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere all come together to create a memorable and heartwarming experience. Our visit to Terry's Cafe on my wife's birthday will remain etched in our hearts as a celebration of love, good food, and exceptional...

I love Terry's. It's the classic "Full English breakfast experience". The space is very welcoming and the staff is friendly. Always when someone from our family comes from Brazil or friends come to visit us, we bring them there so they can try the traditional English breakfast for the first time. BUT, this time... I gave the 4* for the ambient just because in our last visit on Saturday, 28th of June, we stayed in the virtual queue for a table of 5pax, with 3 people being family that came all the way from Brasil until here. This time, the food and staff were still absolutely amazing! but they put us on a table for 4 pax with an additional chair to make it 5 that was close to the door and made it almost impossible for the waitress to get to the table in the window behind us, so we were always kind of like worrying if we should move or not. Also, it was a VERY warm day in London and, even though I appreciate they trying to accommodate as many guests as possible in their small restaurant, this table thing made me a little bit upset, it was quite uncomfortable with the restaurant not having fans OR Air conditioning - we were sweating the whole time and thinking we should've had dined outdoors... Anyways, London doesn't stay this warm throughout the year hahaha so during winter season there is quite cosy! Would just recommend having a fan or something spare for...

I was looking forward to trying Terry’s cafe after hearing and seeing good things and we traveled some distance to get there. Unfortunately I left extremely underwhelmed, although you could tell the meat on the full English was of good quality that’s about the only thing I could complement. I felt that the service was quite substandard, We were sat at a table which hadn’t been wiped properly so it was very wet and still had bits of food left all over it. I felt that the server was slow quite ‘slap dash’ very slow to take our order although they were not busy and I felt the server was quite rude when she did come over. We ordered 2 cups of tea which came with the milk already added and with the teabag floating in the cup and I had to ask for a clean cup as one cup was filthy and very stained on the inside.

The breakfast came out within minutes, our eggs were undercooked and had to send mine back as can’t stand snotty egg white, they forgot the mushrooms on one of the breakfasts and never asked if we would have liked fresh or tinned tomatoes. The ‘chunky chips’ on the breakfast were clearly frozen chips and were overcooked so didn’t bother eating them. We received tap water in a dirty, chipped glass bottle and one of the side plates had a big chip out of it. Unfortunately I felt quite ripped off so I wouldn’t recommend this place and certainly won’t...

Great food and great service. Can’t ask for much else. Came first thing on a Monday morning at 8am and was seated right away. They were only accepting cash that day so we had to use the ATM nearby which cost us 5 pounds even though the screen in the beginning says 2 pounds to withdraw. Prepare to bring cash just in case. We just dealt with it because eating a fry up here was one of my priorities while visiting London. I ordered “the works” and it was delicious. Portion was generous and I’m a big eater. 16.50 pounds for the plate seemed reasonable to me in a big city like London. The Cumberland sausage, bacon, and bubble and squeak were the highlights. I never thought I’d like canned beans that much but it really works in this dish. Egg was perfectly cooked as well. I was an idiot and didn’t realize English breakfast tea meant it had milk and sugar in it. I thought it was just a type of tea and I’m allergic to milk. Our waitress didn’t make me feel bad about it at all and brought out a plain black tea with no hesitation. She also showed us HP sauce and how and when to use it. It reminded me a bit of a vinegar heavy American barbecue sauce. I enjoyed it with the chips. Food and service go hand in hand and this cafe has both in spades. Everything you want from a local breakfast spot.
