The Big Bites Cafe — Restaurant in London

We just come back from big bite where we have our breakfast and that is our usual breakfast place and we always love the service and atmosphere but today the experience was truly unacceptable… Firstly we order our food and everything was great and then while we was eating it was staff constantly during rounds around the table seriously every 5 seconds someone was passing to check if you finished your food, we couldn’t eat in peace on top of that music was so loud that we couldn’t hear our conversation so I ask politely to put it down slightly if possible and they did and on the next 3 minutes music was back. I finished my food first but still have coffee and drink so I waited for my husband and son to finish so I put my knife and fork in position “still eating “ and we have 6 people coming around to try to take my plate and I repeat myself and told them to leave as we still eating! And after that the continued to come and disturb our meal so I went to lovely lady who is over the counter and I explained her situation and she was very apologetic and explained me that they have new boss and that his new rules…so I was so shocked and I went to him directly and told him that is unacceptable, we order meal , we pay for it and we have right to finish our meal in peace and that the staff should not disturb customers when they eating, they should wait when they finish. And this new owner was extremely rude and said to me that is his restaurant and his rules and not to teach him how to do his job !!!

And I told him he is extremely rude and he didn’t apologise at all !!!! I told him he will ruin this lovely place with his bad attitude and no manners whatsoever but he doesn’t care, he said I can go somewhere else if I don’t like it.

That was our last trip to Big Bite.Very disappointed and such a shame because the old staff the was so nice and polite and they know the new boss is in wrong, I just feel sorry for them to have work with such a rude person with horrible attitude towards...

I took my family to have breakfast today at a cafe not far from where I live and I found this gem on the internet. There is paid parking on the road outside paid through Pay By Phone app. Once inside there is a great selection from the menu and you can also choose your own breakfast items individually which is a bonus if you don’t want the set breakfast menu. You can order from the table using the QR code or from the menu and pay at the counter. Food and drinks came quickly and that’s quick and efficient service. I ordered the salmon and scrambled egg breakfast which was tasty and a hot chocolate which never disappoints. Although I was slightly disappointed with the amount of salmon as it was considerably less than on the photos shown but saying that the establishment was very clean and well kept and brightly lit, and the also the speed of the service as we were all hungry. It is one of the best cafes that we have been to so far. My family enjoyed their meals and loved their hot drinks including my hot chocolate and the caramel latte. How I didn’t manage to see this before I will never know. I will be coming back here...

Great fresh orange juice,hot and nice cooked grill breakfast(food is really hot) we enjoy regularly to eat in.Nice tea and cafe. All staff work with such effort/fantastic,they make it sure the table clean and all condiments on table in a place..nice and clean place to have a quick breakfast of your choice.We tend to prefer grill mushrooms/tomato,smoke salmon/salads,not the normal English Breakfast(it's too heavy intake in the morning).But our son enjoy the Big Breakfast here,which is reasonable in portion and price.
