Finally got my dose of authentic Afghan Sheeryakh. My quest for Sheeryakh (frozen milk) has not been easy as all the locations are out of no where and they all open in the evenings when I can't access them. Out of the four I tried, I can definitely confirm this place is more than authentic and the same as how you would see it in Afghanistan on the internet. You will see milk being poured into the metal drum and the drum is constantly pushed up and down and rotated in an ice cavity thing which is extremely physical. Once the frozen milk is ready and scooped into the bowl, they pour clotted cream on top. The pieces of clotted cream curd was delicious and reminds me of Mongolian Aaruul curds. Overall, a really refreshing dessert that is not too sweet and Thankfully the rose water is not strong because I don't like rose! Again, out of the radar for most like me but I would definitely...

I have to say i had quite high expectations. The place is pretty and the people working there were also quite nice. But to the sheeryakh now. Its taste was good, but i didnt like the optics as much. Also there was some kind of sauce? I believe? Which i first thought was just the melted ice cream but later on i realized that couldn't be the case. Which also surprised me are the sizes of single and double sheeryakh. When I was there we ordered both and there was barely any difference. And the double one costs 5£ while the single one 3£. If you pay 2£ more you usually expect to also get some extra for it. All together it was a nice experience and eating sheeryakh of course reminds many people of being back in their homeland while others just enjoy experiencing dishes from other cultures It is a nice place to go but I wouldn't say...

Never come here , they have the worst hospitality , asked for extra sauce and the girl said “we’re not you’re servant and we don’t have no more , and get out of my shop “. Bad attitude towards us . No one in my family was happy with the experience you gave us . Is that how you speak rude to a pregnant lady I was speaking so nicely to you . This isn’t how you speak to customers like that I’m a manager in a food business , if I see my staff do this kind of behaviour I will fire them straight away . I hope you change your attitude or before you business goes in recession , also your uncle said sorry in your behalf . You should be ashamed about that

I visited Afghan Sheeryakh today with two of my close friends. This was actually my second time here, and once again, I was very impressed! The staff are extremely polite, welcoming, and always smiling – they treat their customers with great respect and kindness. It really makes a difference when the service feels warm and genuine. The desserts were as delicious as ever – creamy, refreshing, and full of flavor. If you want to try something special with an authentic Afghan taste, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!
