Perfectly Brewed Coffee and Smiles at Hanwell's Crown Jewel
Rating: â â â â â (5/5)
In the heart of West London, situated in the charming locale of Hanwell, there exists a quintessential example of what every café ought to be - welcoming, warm, and offering world-class coffee. This establishment, my daily escape and newfound second home, is truly unmatched in the capital.
There's an adage that goes, "people will forget what you said, they'll forget what you did, but they won't forget how you made them feel." It's evident that the staff at this café have taken this to heart, as the moment you step into the inviting space, you're met with an infectious enthusiasm and genuine warmth that's sure to uplift even the gloomiest of London's weather.
From the moment you're greeted by your name at the door, it's clear that this isn't just another café. It's a community. The staff don't merely serve customers, but they form bonds with regulars that turn into friendships, delivering a unique sense of homeliness and companionship that is rare to find.
And then, there's the coffee - truly the pieÌce de reÌsistance. Calling it 'scientifically perfect' is no exaggeration. Every cup boasts precision and mastery, reflecting their unwavering commitment to coffee excellence. From the carefully sourced beans to the meticulous brewing process, each element is thoughtfully considered, resulting in a cup that is a symphony of balanced flavors and the perfect companion to start or end your day.
In a city teeming with coffee shops at every corner, this Hanwell gem distinguishes itself not just by the quality of its brew but also through the heartwarming connections it fosters within its rustic, cosy walls. This is more than a cafĂ© â itâs an experience, a ritual, a comfort, and a joy. It's the kind of place that you can't wait to return to every single day, for your daily dose of exceptional coffee and contagious smiles.
In short, if you are a coffee aficionado, a seeker of comfort, or simply a person looking for a friendly chat, you're bound to find what you need, and so much more, at this outstanding Hanwell café.
With all this being said, itâs clear to see why this spot receives an emphatic five-star rating from me. Come rain or shine, there's nowhere else in West London that does it quite like they do. This cafĂ© is not just the heart of Hanwell, but the heartbeat of...
Read moreIâd been coming here since opened every time Iâve ordered a plain croissant Iâve asked for jam and every time Ive been told weâll get it soon but no. On my last visit a few months back when I mentioned this to one of the gentleman (who seems nice enough) behind the counter that he keeps saying itâll come soon and doesnât so what he saying isnât consistent to whatâs happening . So I said this to him that he keeps saying that and it isnât the reality . (No big deal but tbh makes it a very dry snack)
The other guy started being aggressive because I pointed this out almost like he was ready to get into a fight . (That was the impression I got)
Honestly what the hell ??
I pointed out iâm a customer giving feed back I thought about giving them another chance after but Iâve been giving them a chance for over a year and continuously they arenât doing what they say. And then the guys attitude was just a step to far hence Iâve wrote this review which I donât do lightly . (Marios seemed pleasant enough it was the the other guy )
Music is way to loud in there aswell when Iâve gone in there with a friend we couldnât really hear our own conversation .
Also they donât accept cash . Considering clock tower cafe , big bites cafe , 87 degree cafe . All within close proximity accept cash and none of their staff are rude or aggressive from what Iâve seen.
As much as I always want to support my local business in this circumstance I just canât sorry . I just couldnât recommend this place . Happily Iâll recommend the other places I mentioned though and will continue to spend my money there instead
( I write this review with heavy heart but in light of the guys rude aggressive attitude canât...
Read moreOriginally 2 stars * I live near here and come by every once in a while. Some of the drinks are very good, but the service is terrible! They always forget my drink or make the incorrect one. I ordered a hot chocolate and they made 3 different lattes. When they asked again what I ordered they misheard it as iced latte and I just left. If you have patience and no plans for the afternoon itâs fine, but really bad if you just want a takeaway coffee.
Update: I don't come here too often, but I have probably gotten coffee here at least 10 times in the last 8 months or so. I have never waited behind more than 1 person in line, usually there is no line and I walk right up to order. I would understand forgetting a modification or maybe even the full drink if there was a long line or a rush. But if I go to order and there is zero line, and then the full order is forgotten about while I stand right there and wait, that's bad service. And if that happens about 50% of the time I go, that's routinely bad service. This was simply the first time I just walked out without having them actually make the drink I paid for and the first time I was frustrated enough to make a review. You can be as condescending as you want in your reply, but it doesn't change that my experience has been poor and I'd recommend against coming here if you don't have a fair amount of time to wait considering the issues I've experienced getting a...
