The Bricklayers — Restaurant in London

This bar feels very British—in the best way! As soon as I walked in, I saw lots of groups of British people, which I actually enjoyed since I’m from Thailand. It was a fun experience to be in a place where locals gather, to hear their conversations and observe the culture up close.

The lady behind the bar was incredibly kind and friendly—genuinely warm and welcoming. We ordered Guinness beer and had a great time there. The bar is also located in a nice area, so even if you’re just out for a walk or a run, it’s easy to stop by for a refreshing drink. Definitely...

Came for a couple of ciders prior to Guns and Roses on 2nd July 2022. Busiest place on Earth but such a great atmosphere. Queued at the garden bar and served by a true North Londoner who was amazing. Made truly welcome, had to drink outside on the street with many others but didn't draw away from the atmosphere and was the perfect start for the concert over the road. Would visit again if nearby. Terrible experience and do not recommend to people of colour at all We were waiting for a drink at the bar and were looked at and then blatantly ignored by the bartenders until a customer pointed out that we had been ignored and left for over 15 minutes.
