I donāt really write reviews and Iāve never been this pub in my life but if Iām ever an in London again I will go out my way to visit to personally thank Tina, Iām from the north west Cheshire and I donāt go to London often at all & still I have to rate this place as one of the best places around and that is only because of the landlady Tina you will forever be in my debt, Iāve never met you and I donāt need to I know anymore about you other than what Ive been told by my dad and partner who are honest decent men, what a legend you are for what you did that day, I am so grateful for your generosity and you have put back the faith in humanity the way you looked after my partner and more importantly my dad who is 70 years old and deserves looking after as heās also a legend like you. He was on a trip of a lifetime (let me explain a little) after my partner was kind enough to take my dad all the way to London to watch his favourite team Denver Broncos for an experience of a lifetime at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, which they won by the way š I was so worried about them both being able to get out of the stadium and back to there hotel safely as he isnāt the best on his feet now being elderly and suffers with a chronic disability and needs to rest a lot, the way Tina came to the rescue stepping out of her pub already helping another elderly couple in a taxi seeing my partner also struggling to flag down a taxi/uber and having no luck she didnāt hesitate to ask them if they needed help and insisted they come inside she had nothing to gain as my dad doesnāt even drink and just wanted to rest his feet and was absolutely exhausted after a full day of travelling and the game itās self Tina went out of her way to bring them both inside and got my dad a coffee free of charge and got him a seat to rest his legs and also treated my partner to a free pint which she also didnāt have to do as they insisted on paying but no thatās Not what Tina was about and was not why she did what she did which shows how lovely she is really is as a landlady and more so as a person they met some lovely people that day and Tina most of all will forever be the person who stood out the most so thank you from the...

Lovely and clean ladies toilets.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Coach & Horses and the Gillspins Bell... Two of the best local pubs you'll find around. Great on match days as the coach has a huge beer garden. The staff is super friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Looking for flash... look elsewhere... looking for somewhere to have a very reasonably pint in good company or alone amongst people who know the local community....
