Myself and work colleagues went there for drinks Friday 3rd May and found a table area to seat all 6 of us. We ordered drinks, 2 for 1 cocktails, so a lot of drinks. We’re drinking and catching up back at the table when a female bartender comes along at 6.15pm to say that the table we’re at is reserved from 6.30pm and we need to move. My friend asked where does it state this as we couldn’t see anything to say so. The bartender pointed and said “right there”. She had pointed to a paper doily on the table with barely visible scribbled writing on it. Bearing in mind this LLC is dark and dimly lit so no one would even see that!! Fine, we made our point on how would they expect us to see that but that we’d finish our drinks and leave. At 6.25pm the bartender returned to say the booking had arrived and we need to go. This was exclaimed in a very rude tone to which we didn’t appreciate. We’ve just come in and spent around £100 on drinks to be spoken to like that? No! She then sends another bartender over to repeat what she hard said, bearing in mind we still had 4 mins to finish all of our drinks. LLC this is poor customer service and reservations on your part. You need to go away and learn how to speak to paying customers better and invest in some visible table reservation cards instead of using doilies written with a bic pen. Rude and...
Read moreHad a table booked here at 5pm yesterday. We turned up early and someone was at our table. It was not very busy, but we were told to come back in 20 minutes when our reservation began. Returned to find people still at our table. Waited to speak to what seemed to be the only member of staff who was not behind the bar. He was very busy dealing with a table of 20 who had booked and had paid a deposit which didn’t have a table. We eventually got a table at 5.20pm - but it was still covered in empty glasses from the previous people. Glasses were cleared away but we had to find something to wipe it ourselves as it was a sticky mess ! Eventually got our drinks - but only one - not the buy one get one free offer we were expecting. Asked for a double of all the drinks - but the second never came. Went to the bar, to try and order more, which was now very busy. When coming to pay, they tried charging us for the drinks we never received !! The bar man that was dealing with us was rude and when I asked to speak to the manager I was told I can’t get him he’s upstairs (meaning he was out the front of the club hiding as he couldn’t deal with the mess going on downstairs). Have previously visited the club in Oxford Street and we have always been very impressed. But will not be returning to the Liverpool Street...
Read moreUpdate: It has been a week since management replied to this review saying they are working on refunding me but I have still not been refunded. It’s been over 2 weeks since I have been going back and forth with Amber via email and she said the refund would be processed on 16th August (when my bill was due) yet it still hasn’t been! Disappointed but not surprised. I am now £51.75 short and very frustrated and stressed as I have other bills to pay. Sort it out!!!
I came here on 3rd August with my boyfriend. We were served by a friendly female waitress who advised us it is happy hour and cocktails are £14 (2 for 1). We ordered the Jam Jam Daiquiri (which she recommended we try).
After we finished our drinks I went up to the bar to pay, the man behind the bar said the total was £15.75… I did wonder why it wasn’t £14 as I was told previously but assumed it included service charge. Having now checked my banking app I can see that he charged me £51.75 instead! This is absolutely disgraceful! I have tried calling the bar but cannot get through.
I am appalled and will not return here. I would like to speak to the manager to make an...
