So nice to discover yet another incredible local brunch place! We absolutely enjoyed our time here, thanks to the nice atmosphere, kind staff and super delicious food. The service was also fast and the portions huge, which was much appreciated with an empty stomach 😆 The wagyu beef burger was absolutely mind blowing - the quality of the meat was amazing (100% grass fed and I could tell) and the beef patty was nice, juicy and big; loved the spiced fries it came with. My mum really enjoyed her chorizo hash and said she is now a fan of chorizo after tasting this dish, which says a lot! We also enjoyed some freshly squeezed OJ and coffee though I wasn't a big fan of the coffee itself, a bit too bitter for my taste BUT the Biscoff it was served with enhanced the experience. Overall, I give this place 5/5 for absolutely everything and would recommend to anyone in the area. Added it to my favourites and would be back soon to try something else from the excellent choices on the menu. Thank you for feeding us well!

The Curious Goat is a sizeable restaurant in a modern building, with a catchy name, spacious feel and attractive décor. The initial good impression was confirmed when we went in, for we were greeted by the smiliest and friendliest waitress we’ve come across in a while. She showed us to our table and quickly brought menus and drinks. Every item on the menu looked like a winner, for all seemed so delicious. I regret not taking a picture of the menu to share with you. Our table ordered a selection of plates, mine being this fiercely delicious dish made up of spicy chorizo, onions, potatoes and poached eggs, served on toast sourdough bread. Beautifully plated, cooked to perfection. I also tried my friend’s Halloumi and Chorizo burger and it was just so moreish - I cannot wait to be back. Great coffee too. I had to compliment the chef for the food was far superior than the competition. I'm ever so thankful to my friend for finding this little gem. Great job guys, looking forward to visiting you soon.

I wasn’t very satisfied with my visit. The pancakes were disappointing. Nearly as dry as the Sahara desert. My friend was digging for the better parts. It tasted like the ready made mix you can buy at Tesco and they were stingy with their maple syrup. I’m glad I had this to share so didn’t waste a whole £9.90 on that. The acai bowl was decent but nothing I would return for (definitely not for that price). The mocktail was very basic, the fruits were just distracting, making it look nicer than it tasted. Positives: The chips were well seasoned making them really yummy. Love how dog friendly the place is. Lovely staff. I understand that I didn’t try much but I went with 6 others and they would not return, except one friend who loved her burger.

I recently had brunch at this charming restaurant and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional - the smoothie with mango, spinach, and kale was a refreshing and healthy start to the meal. The pancakes and French toast were cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was another highlight. The space was beautifully decorated with bookshelves, giving it a cozy and inviting feel. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch with friends or family. Overall, I would highly recommend this brunch spot to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a lovely setting. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu.

Tucked away not far from St James Station and within a new housing complex, this artesian cafe offers some traditional cafe food and other more crafted food in keeping with the local cafe culture uptrend. They can cater to intolerances, but you will need to tell them. Prices are reasonable, and I recommend the French toast. We sat outside but was getting dripped on by the flower beds of the residents' balcony above. To conclude, it was a nice place which I would go back to. Back again, the clientele seemed to have changed to more young families, so it was a bit noisy. The food still good 👍 had the French toast with added bacon

Great menu options for non-meat eaters at good prices. Parking is a bit of an issue, the closest one is 5-7 minutes walk away. We had some of the vegetarian brunch options, the halloumi hash and the one called just "healthy" :-) Both were great, and although the hash looks small when it comes - the plate size is deceiving - there is a lot of food inside. I liked their sourdough bread and the poached eggs were delicious. There are plenty of tables inside and the place is spacious - you don't feel like you're rubbing elbows with your neighbours. Can't wait to go back and sample some of their other dishes.
