Nestled in the heart of Highgate, The Duke's of Highgate transports patrons to the vibrant bars of America with its eclectic ambience and delectable cuisine. As a dog-friendly establishment, it welcomes both two-legged and four-legged guests with open arms, making it a haven for pet owners seeking a memorable dining experience. But it's not just the ambience that captivates; it's the food that truly steals the show. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of American classics, from juicy burgers and crispy chicken wings to indulgent macaroni and cheese. Each dish is crafted with care and precision, using only the finest ingredients to ensure a culinary experience like no other. In conclusion, The Duke's of Highgate is more than just a bar; it's a destination. Whether you're craving a taste of America or simply seeking a cosy spot to unwind with your furry friend, this charming establishment delivers on all fronts. With its great food, welcoming atmosphere, and dog-friendly ethos, it's no wonder that The Duke's of Highgate has quickly become a favourite among locals and visitors alike.

Amazing little pub/venue. Went there to see left lane cruiser last minute. Manager was very helpful and polite. Staff were nice and happy. Food was excellent and there is plenty of options for drinks. The setup of the place is great its very country and very cool I loved all the poster and wall art. Will happily be going back for other bands/gigs. Was easy to find not much parking around as it's a high street but train station is a short walk. They regularly have events on so always something going on. Or if you just want a fairly quiet night it's worth going for the food alone. Again have to praise the manager for running an excellent venue

This is a great little bar with a Honky Tonk theme and it does actually remind me of a moonshine bar I've visited in Nashville. Great decor, selection of drinks (even craft beers) and fantastic staff especially Caz who was so friendly and attentive to make sure we never waited long for a drink. Played a mix of old country music and rock (I'd prefer more Country 🤠😉) but the atmosphere and ambience is pleasant and chilled. Will definitely be back and recommending to all #CountryMusicAttendees

I used to visit this pub regularly as I love the changing monthly food and the beer was good. On this basis, I probably would have given it 5 stars. However, on one visit when I ordered alcohol and presented perfectly valid ID (a UK driving licence), the member of staff said "it doesn't look legit mate" and asked where I got it from. I am in my mid-twenties now so have had to show ID at a lot of different places and this has never happened anywhere else. Afterwards, I emailed the pub to let them know what had happened and suggested that they make staff aware of what valid ID looks like - if I had received an apology and assurance that this would be done, I would have been happy. However, I never received a reply...perhaps the jobsworth who served me at the time saw the email and deleted it in an attempt to protect his job.

This was some time ago now and hopefully this wouldn't happen to anyone else, however it is very poor for a business to ignore a customer complaint following bad service and the fact that this happened is worse than the...

All the staff except for the manager and owner were friendly and nice. And I agree with other postings that the beer selection is very good. The owner and manager however, treated me like a homeless man because I had come in with my roller bag. Told me to get out and never come back. Owner told me I wasn't leaving fast enough as I was turning off my laptop and then put his nose in my face and made physical contact. Spent about 80 pounds over three days to be treated BY FAR the worst I've ever been treated in any establishment in the last 35 years. Just evil treatment. I'm an American attorney and I welcome the owner to challenge me on these truthful facts. His manager behaved even worse, but I'll restrict myself to specific details about just him for this rating. If I had been settling and establishing myself in London, he would've been answering a civil action for what he and his manager said and did towards...
