My friends and I visited hoping to relax and enjoy drinks together, but our experience was completely ruined by an individual claiming to be the manager. This man (approximately 5'10", visibly wearing a security camera on his person) was extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. He displayed zero customer service skills, openly dismissing our presence with contempt. His hostile attitude and unwarranted aggression made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. What’s worse: after checking other reviews, it’s clear we’re not alone. Multiple guests have reported identical encounters with this same person (white male, he wear a his camera and around 5ft9). Staff like this have no place in hospitality—especially if you’re celebrating or seeking a positive atmosphere. To managemen: This individual is actively driving customers away. We will never return, and I urge you to retrain or replace him before he further damages your reputation. To fellow customers: If you encounter this manager, speak up or walk out. In my case I walked out, I do not want to deal wjth it after a long hard working day. You deserve better than his toxic energy.

Our visit for the very first time today. No toilet paper in the disabled toilet at 10am. If a fire officer inspected it they would find a hook on the inside to lock the door, this means that there’s no quick access from the outside if needed. When I questioned the lady about it her response was that they would bash the door in, this indicated that she would not hang around if there was a fire and would probably rely on someone else to check if there was someone inside. If a disabled person had fallen and couldn’t get up, they would bash the door in possibly causing injury to that person. For the cost of £200 or less, replacing the broken radar lock could save someone’s life.

Not too had for a quick pint, the food can be hit or miss. Just bought this pizza with ham and mushrooms, after eating half I noticed that it had no tomato sauce on it and was in fact a garlic bread with cheese on it with the toppings placed on top of the cheese. The second pizza, a ham and pineapple arrived as a pineapple and mushroom pizza, yuck. I sent it back but when it arrived I had already noticed there was no tomato sauce on them so sent it back again and received a refund instead. They were totally OK about it and even offered me a desert or something instead as a sorry which was a nice gesture

I have been going to this pub since I moved to the area at the beginning of 2018. The staff are always very polite and are genuine happy to serve you. They always come to check if you like the food and ensure you have all the condiments you need/want. The Great Harry has changed my opinion about the JD Whetherspoon chain - they have properly put their game up in terms of food quality. So I don't need to mention the value for money here!

When my mum was visiting me from Brazil, she had the opportunity to come to this pub with me and we now share fond memories of moments of laughter and great food. She can't forget the taste of the chips and insists that no other English pub make better and tastier chips.

I mentioned to our waitress how memorable the place was to my mum. The little details like the blue-flowery patterns on their plates, the happy staff, amazing food etc... A few minutes later, the waitress came back with a gift for my mum! After our brief conversation, she had gone to speak to the manager who arranged a full set of Whetherspoons crockery for my mum!

I just could not believe my eyes. I was literally so overwhelmed that did not even know what to do! I could not be more thankful. Both the manager and the waitress (two lovely ladies) really exceeded my expectations – they went an extra mile and gave my mother a souvenir that now has a very strong emotional value to us.

I have worked in the customer service industry for years, but this was the very first time I was properly wowed. I am forever thankful to...

I was always happy with the customer service in this restaurant. But today I was very, very unhappy with your service. I made order for beers and I paid cash and he gave me cashback but he didn´t even ask me, if I would like to get an receipt, which I think its the most important thing about the customer service. After 30 minutes came waitress and told me, that I did not paid my order. I was very suprised, when he came after 30 minutes and told me that I didnt pay. I told him I was sure I paid, but he told me very arrogantly that is not true! I told him, that he must have it on the camera system. On my question, if I can look at on camera record as well waitress reply, that he must go and said about it to a manager. For next 10 minutes waitress came with manager and she said, that I did not paid and I must paid my order. I´m 100% confident that I paid it! I dont think, that they even look on the camera records. They just arrogantly said to me, it was my problem. I was very bored to argue with them so I paid for it again without any excuse. I felt really bad for this kind of small things. Im not happy, for it but about this problem I will say all my friend and my family. I go to your restaurant very often, but it was my...

I had occasion to lunch at Wetherspoons Great Harry today, where they seem to have worked out that by simply adding a video camera to the uniform of barely post-pubescent, minimum wage table cleaning (you can barely call it 'waiting') staff, they get mobile CCTV AND security for the princely sum of £6.83 an hour.

I feel this is worth mentioning, not only because private conversations between customers don't really need to be recorded but also because across the road from our table there is a training company offering SIA (security training), and trained security get paid a lot more than cleaners for a good reason. No, its not about 'keeping an eye on them'. That is not the direction your CCTV points in.

Absolutely shocked and disgusted that Wetherspoons can get away with exploiting and maipulating young people like this. During the 2011 Woolwich riots The Great Harry burned. I'm not surprised that demographic targeted your business, if thats the cvold and underhanded way you treat it.

Only giving one star because I can't leave a review with this. I will never set foot in another one of your paranoid manipulations,...
