PIZZA PARTY MAGIC 🍕 📍 Hackney, London ⭐️ 5/5 💸 ££ 🍴The loveliest evening with my girlfriends celebrating the launch of @wellstreetpizza at @londonfieldspub ❤️ Their concept is simple but brilliant: authentic Italian #pizzas made with high-quality ingredients, cooked in proper wood-fired ovens, and served in the most fun, community-driven setting. You can feel the passion for food and people in every detail 🔥 The Italian #chef guided us step by step through making pizzas from scratch: from kneading the dough to pulling it fresh out of the oven. I went for a mix of #pepperoni + margherita (because… why not?!) and it was perfection: chewy crust, the right char, and bursting flavour, we were so proud of our handmade #pizza 👌 Funniest moment? My friend struggling to knead the dough while the chef laughed and told her “don’t touch the pizza like a DJ” 🎶😂 Absolute highlight of the night! Warm staff, fun vibes, authentic food, and a true slice of Italian spirit in London, this was such a memorable evening. Already planning our next visit! [INVITE]

A really great independent pub and a lovely addition to the area. It has really good vibes inside with a nice interior and a cute terrace. The vibes are good and service is fast and friendly. Paris and Daniel were really lovely and made us feel right at home. Personally I am not a fan of Aperol spritz (my friend said it was great - apparently you can tell by the ratio) so I had a limoncello spritz instead which was amazing and I haven’t seen anywhere else do them. You can get two spritz for £15 which is really good value and a pizza and pint for £15 which I will be back to try (I did see them and they looked delicious, they say the pizza chef is from Naples). I really appreciate how they had their pint prices on display. NOWHERE DOES THIS so they get extra points for that as it eliminates the stress of wondering how much it’s going to be. Anywhere that does Asahi gets a plus in my book. They have a lunch deal for any pizza for £7 which is 1010.

We are very local so we checked out the new version. I’ve been frequenting since 2004. Not bad, but I was freezing cold inside on a February day, put the heating on guys. The Guinness was ok but poured very badly shame because it tasted like it’s being kept well. In these days if Guinness hype, the staff clearly need some training. 3 Guinness pints by three different tenders all poured wrong. Food wise, Id like to see a better menu, Pizzas are a bit done now and thereid serious competition round these parts doing way better. You can cook lovely things in pizza ovens that aren’t pizza. We had burratta, garlic bread and I unfortunately they had run out off the Sardines, only discovered 10 mins later which was a disappointment. I think they have done an ok job on the refurb but there’s but it still not a pub. 4 stars is on the topside, average feelings for what is now a pub again, I think.

We stumbled across this lovely old pub while out looking for intimate wedding reception venues. The staff we incredibly helpful and friendly. We liked the choice of beers on tap and sampled the lovely pizzas. The private upstairs space and little outdoor terrace looked perfect. We look forward to celebrating my son's wedding there in October. The pub is so full of character that we can easily visualise how the space is going to look and feel.

Updated: My son and his fiance held their wedding reception here and the experience was outstanding. Cat and the team set up the function room perfectly, served the welcome food and drinks in the bar and then all afternoon and evening in our private space. The room is ideal for functions with it's own little terrace and bar. We were able to set up scrolling photos on the TV, play our own music through the sound system and adjust the layout once we had eaten, allowing space to dance. We all said that we wouldnt have changed a thing and the feedback from guests has been incredible. Thank you team! Forever...
