*BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, * Greedy for money and rude.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken hong kong style only carrot (no onion, pineapple or pepper)

King prawn chow mein.

When I saw the food I  Thought what kind of chicken looks so long so I asked the lady is this chicken and she said to me no it's prawns.

I told her I did not ask force prawns I asked for chicken when she attempted to insist that I did. I  just told her to change it.

I then said my order was £13 odd you overcharged me. She said, you don’t want no pineapple, pepper or onion so you will get more so that’s 50p extra. Excuse me how can you charge a customer because they don’t want some ingredients. Its rude and outlandish and genuinely a first I always remove ingredients I don’t like.

I said ok what about the other £1.50 she said 10p for bag and I give you a bottle of water. This lady is honesty so greedy for money, rude and discourteous. She lucky she caught me after work on a good day and I couldn’t be bothered to go back and forth with her. But please check your order and the amount you pay prior cause she will come up with ways to keep your money rather than refund you what you deserve.

The food...

Not a pleasant visit, you go into a soulless restaurant, I used to go here for the last 10/15 years, with a beautiful souled women who would always greet you with a warm smile soft tone and you really felt like you was welcome, along with her daughters and her husband behind the line producing the most beautiful food, now it has changed hands, you walk through the door to a bossy, rude, loud, disrespectful front of house,this is a shame because you have brought such a foundation to the lowest of lowest, I thought I was going to reminisce like the old days in what used to be the best Chinese in London, if you want to be spoken to like a child please go here, if not stay away, Bring back the old front of house, takes years to build a reputation and minutes to destroy it! Doesnt even deserve one star

Sack the rude lady and get someone who actually wants to make the business grow

I have dined at this place for over 30 years and when they had 2 branches. I've seen the girls grow up, but of late all they do is raise their prices, shrink their portions and not even let me off 10p for less than 24 hours when paying over £30. I wasn't allowed to bring the 10p in the next day so had to cancel the whole order. The quality of food and service have severely declined and they seem more money focused than ever, even during/post covid! They're out of touch with the people in the area and the fact that buying 1 dish to add to scraps at home is the closest I get to a treat and even a full meal most weeks! Taking my last £8 for NO beef in the crispy beef which I hoped to take home and add too to make a meal from was a complete rip off. And don't even try to complain, she just kept shouting at me when I called and tried to tell her I'd been charged £8 for greasy...
