Went there as a group. The wait staff was kinda harried.. didn't seem to know what was going on. Calamari appetizer was meh.. not very tasty. Ordered the linguine fruite di mare because it clearly said on the menu that it was cooked in a white wine sauce. When it came out the long long wait it was in a tomato sauce. I asked the waiter about this and he seemed clueless even though I pointed the menu description out to him. so he went back to the kitchen to check and then came back and said okay do you want something else. I wasn't sure if that meant that they had no white wine sauce or was it a mistake or what. So I ordered the fish but they're run out of the fish so they need came back and asked what I wanted to do. At that point I said can you make the linguine with a white wine sauce and he said he would go check again and came back in the form that they could do that. So he came back with a linguini that was cooked in white wine sauce but tasted pretty glad and had no flavor. My friends were joking that they might have just washed the tomato sauce off and...
Read moreSo… had the calamari, carbonara and then tiramisu. First I was a bit meh with the calamari. Ok, but nothing special. The same with the carbonara. Tiramisu was heavenly. And then I remembered my years living in Italy. The carbonara was just like in the village restaurant where nonna is making it like she has for the past 30 years. The only thing I would change is to have some crunchy bits of the meat sprinkled on top the dish, but that’s just me. I’m not nonna. Nonna knows best. So, for me it was a normal carbonara. For those who do not know nonna, it might be like the tiramisu, heavenly. This was a good, simple, tasty Italian meal. Just like it’s suppose to be.
Service was soooo nice, and I feel like crap when I realized I didn’t give a tip. ’Been a while since I’ve been in London (UK) and the service charge on the check threw me off ( coperto , right? ). One niggle… the cocktail is suppose to come before the first...

For starter I had the bruschetta. Beautiful tomatoes are required and these were them. It was a big portion for a starter and was worried I'll not be able to eat main course. Top bruschetta.
For main i had the lamb shank which was served on mash potatoes and gravy. I didnt read the menu properly as it didn't come with other vegetables. However the lamb was superb, it just fell off the bone. The mash was creamy and smooth but the gravy was just wow. If I could have taken some home I would and mop it up with bread.
For dessert I had the tiramsu. Again top drawer, if I'm being very picky then I'd have liked a bit more coffee liquor in it. However it was superb, great layering.
All in all was a great lunch and if I'm in that area of London again,I will return
Oh and the wine glasses are...
