🚇Westbourne Park 🍺 £5.50 Posh Lager ❤️ A vibrant West London boozer. . The Quiet Night Inn is located on the corner of Westbourne Park Road and Tavistock Road in Westbourne Park. The pub is easy to get to as Westbourne Park Tube Station is literally next door.
The pub was built in 1865 and was originally named The Metropolitan. This pub has had a turbulent time in recent years, but in November 2022, South London Brewers @forestroadbrew reopened this unique fronted Victorian boozer.
This is a spacious one-bar pub that has a cheery feel to it. At the core of this pub is a sturdy island servery with a solid wood counter. The bar arcs around the servery with tables and chairs situated under arched windows. At the back left of the bar is a pool table, which is a rarity to see in pubs these days. At the rear of the pub is a decked beer garden with a couple of patio heaters. One thing that was slightly left-field here was the Pinocchio wallpaper and artwork.
The beer selection showcased Forest Road brews and also included Guinness but no cask ale. I decided on a pint of Posh Lager. My pint hit the spot, and price point was reasonable. The food offering was from Cara's Tasty Goat Kitchen, located in the beer garden, so I thought I'd try the Curried Goat. The food was outstanding, really flavorful and filling, the cost was £10 which was Irie. The food menu has recently changed and is comfort food based.
I visited around 5.30 pm on a Saturday afternoon and entered into an upbeat pub with a friendly vibe. The pub was fairly busy with a young and old crowd from all walks of life. The soundtrack was an eclectic mix of genres and years, kudos for playing "Pass The Dutchie," a firm childhood favorite of mine. The service here was fantastic; the lady who served me asked how I was and did so with a smile. That simple question makes all the difference.
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting @thequitenightinn, which, in the main, had the complete package. I would definitely recommend a visit to this vibrant West London pub.

Read moreI walked into this pub I went to the bar the barman walked passed me as if I wasn't there I said 'alright mate' he uttered a barely audible grunt as it was apparent that he was more interested in staring at my colleagues breasts. Another colleague asked what beers do you have the barman just pointed at the taps and when it came to paying he didn't tell me how much he just punched in a total on the card terminal and threw the it down in my general direction. I had taken some of my staff for some well deserved drinks and after 1 round of drinks they felt that we would be better off going to The Grand Union. Convivial, polite, chatty, friendly staff. Table service hellos, thank yous and goodbyes. We ended up spending £170 and had a lovely evening. Hospitality is the name of the game Metropolitan bar not lacklustre unwelcoming ignorant service.
