Just had a lovely couple of hours here with friends. We stumbled upon it after a meal at a nearby restaurant. We were greeted at the door by the owner and made very welcome. The look is one of a Victorian pub with plenty of tiles and mirrors of the period. As a cocktail bar there is ample on the menu to satisfy your needs but there are also very good beers and ciders should that be your preference. Table service with a tab is the norm here but splitting the bill is no problem. On a January evening the atmosphere was lovely with much of the lighting coming from candle light. Ideal for a romantic evening for two. The service from the staff was very attentive with just a glance needed to get their attention to order the next round. The prices of the drinks were as expected for London but competitive with the local competition. We did not notice premium prices for this bar. If you are staying at any of the local hotels this has to be a better option than their bars. We are already looking forward to visiting next time we are in the area. Update 5 Feb 25: After another visit I'm adding an extra star. Made very welcome again and looking forward to the next visit.

I have been to London for vacation last week with a good friend of mine. We had our Hotel right around the Corner of The Racketeer. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in this great bar! The Service Personal is super nice and also very chill to talk to, they where quick in getting our orders even if there was a lot of guests to serve. Now this is the real part you guys came for.. THE DRINKS - Simply awesome, the different cocktails where very tasty and also not to expensive if you think about in wich city we are. - My personal favorite was the Double Cross Swizzle ( Picture ) Also the complimentary jar of water they instantly bring to the Table is a very nice touch :) Thank you very much for having us and i hope we can return soon to get another one of these delicious cocktails :) Greetings from the Austrian Guy´s :)

Horrible , never been treated so badly in my life. Me and my family stayed there and spend over 200£, I stayed behind to say goodbye to my girlfriend and the manager took me aside and told me I distract her too much and she needs to go back and work and told me I “have to leave now “ despite explaining she worked normally and wonderfully without talking to me and he seemed to care little . The general manager is a mean and unwelcoming person, can’t recommend going there. How does someone get thrown out after spending over 200£ and just for saying goodbye to his gf ? Apart from that staff where really nice and the actual owner is a lovely kind and friendly older man :)

My then girlfriend (now wife) and I visited London back in late-April of 2022. Our shared passion is food and drinks. We spent some time wandering around London checking out various spots and eventually found The Racketeer via Google and it looked like the exact spot we were looking for.

Right away The Racketeer was super cool. The vibe was more relaxed than we expected which was an immediate positive—the bartender was inviting and helpful, and the drinks were really well done and delicious. Among the several drinks we each had, my favorite was the Penicillin in a Storm which I highly recommend everyone try if it is on the menu (maybe they'll even go off menu if you mention it). It is a blended scotch based frozen drink with porter beer poured on top when it's finished being crafted... it is still one of the best drinks I have had to my memory. We wish we lived in London so we could frequent the place.

Overall, definitely recommend everyone check this place out for an unpretentious approach to top-notch cocktails with a track-record of amazing staff members and an atmosphere that you will be sure to enjoy regardless of whether you are solo for the night or going out with a group.

(We did not have food as we had reservations elsewhere, but would love to try it when we come back in...

I hosted my husband’s 30th birthday party in the back room of the Racketeer and could honestly not have asked for a nicer venue or better service. The space was referred to as “semi private” but it felt completely private, with a great indoor and outdoor space perfect for 20-30 people in good weather. The Racketeer team were really friendly and accommodating, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, and even allowing us to bring in a cake and some light birthday decor for the room. The bar itself has a fantastic vibe, super relaxed and comfortable with nice background music, reasonable prices for London, and great cocktails. Only thing to note is that the nibbles available are a bit limited (especially if you have vegetarians/vegans in the group) but it’s still perfect for an evening of drinks. Special thanks to Marco for helping to organise the evening, Ty for showing us around the place ahead of our event day, and William and the entire team for the great service...
