The Northumberland Arms — Restaurant in London

I love this pub. It's my favourite in London. I normally stop in either of the two Travelodge's in the vicinity of the Northumberland Arms and this is the first place I head to after I've checked in. The staff are fabulous and they always remember what I drink even though I might not have been in for several months. The landlady - Norah - and her staff are fantastic. The place is always busy and has a great atmosphere. Ideal for watching sport. Great pint of Guinness and a fabulous Jukebox (sadly a rarity in pubs these days). Well...

Its an okay pub, they have live sports and beer which is fine but a bit warm. The food options are very limited and overpriced. Its an authentic pub with a rustic/british atmosphere thus giving it 3 starts for the atmosphere. I gets the job done but it is definetly nothing to write home about. There are many better pubs in London, therefore I would not recommend it. But if you are in the area and just want a beer and to watch a game, its a good...

A nice pub but one with quite a local vibe, and it’s a little basic on the inside. However don’t let that put you off cause the staff are friendly and the drinks all reasonably priced for the area. There’s a pool table which is pretty unique these days, a good atmosphere, and while not a huge amount of seating for a busy evening it’s somewhere which still felt comfortable. It’s nice to find a more authentic place and I’d happily return again...
