I am writing this review to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with the service I received at Sen Viet Restaurant. My experience was nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to share my grievances with others to prevent them from enduring a similar ordeal.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, my family and I were informed that we would have to wait approximately 10 minutes for a table. Despite our patience and understanding, we ended up waiting for a staggering 20 minutes, during which time we witnessed numerous other customers leaving in frustration. It was disheartening to see the staff blatantly ignoring our presence outside, particularly when we had young children with us.

After enduring the unacceptable delay, we decided to approach the staff for an update on our table availability. It was only upon our insistence and second inquiry that they finally informed us that a table was ready. To our dismay, we discovered several unoccupied tables upon entering the restaurant. This lack of transparency and disregard for customers' time is simply unacceptable.

Regrettably, the disappointments did not end there. The food served at Sen Viet Restaurant was lackluster and far from special. We were expecting a delightful culinary experience, but instead, we were met with uninspiring dishes that lacked flavor and creativity. It is infuriating to think that we wasted our time and money on a subpar dining experience.

I am truly appalled by the abysmal service and lackluster food quality at Sen Viet Restaurant. As a customer, I expected to be treated with respect and courtesy, but instead, I was met with indifference and neglect. I strongly advise others to reconsider dining at this establishment, as their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is simply unacceptable.

I hope that this feedback serves as a wake-up call for Sen Viet Restaurant to address their glaring shortcomings and improve their service standards. Until then, I will not be returning, and I encourage others to think twice before subjecting themselves to such a...

Cash only. Their card machine is always broken.

You can make reservations. They get quite busy so it’s good to book ahead. There isn’t a place for you to wait for a table. You’re pretty much on top of the diners already in there.

This is the best place for Vietnamese food within a three mile radius.

The service. More miss than hit. Some of the staff are absolutely lovely. And the others, awful. When they make a mistake with your food order, don’t expect them to compensate you in any way or say sorry.

On one occasion, I ordered food to collect. They lied and said the person I spoke to didn’t understand what I was saying so I had to reorder all over again. This was untrue. The person repeated back the order to me and quoted the same price I was being asked to pay! It later transpired they gave my order to another customer by accident. Then they lied again and told me the food will be a few minutes. I had an Uber waiting outside. It wasn’t a few minutes.

Yesterday, I was seated by one girl. She was absolutely lovely. Gentle manner. Took the time to double check what I was ordering. And while she was taking my order, my boyfriend went to sit down to join me. Suddenly, another girl starts barking at him (us) to sit elsewhere (further down the table). No please, no thank you. Not until I pointed it out to her she wasn’t asking nicely. She was petulantly rude, abrasive and unprofessional.

Other times, the waiter will tell you they’ll be right with you and then just walk past you and ignore you.

Service is a mixed bag. But if you don’t mind that, the food is really good. Portions are inconsistent but is...

Came here with a friend on Saturday for a late lunch.

Hands down the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I have been to in London so far! The menu is extensive and offers a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the tofu summer rolls as a starter to share, then the bun bo hue with both cooked and rare beef for myself, while my friend went for the vegetarian version with tofu. Wow, everything was amazing and so flavourful! My bun bo hue had such a nice broth, absolutely perfect for this cold weather. It came with a generous portion of beef and noodles too which was great for value. Though I would have liked it a lot spicier. The tofu summer rolls were very refreshing and the peanut sauce that was served alongside it was amazing. It had such a rich peanut taste but not overwhelming at all. Last but not least, I also ordered a traditional Vietnamese drip coffee which blew my mind! It was strong and smooth coffee and together with the condensed milk it was almost like a dessert to wrap up the lovely lunch, I highly recommend it.

Even though the restaurant was very busy and I could tell the lady who served us was quite stressed, she managed to stay professional when taking our orders and was so friendly when we eventually paid for our meal just before they wrapped up the lunch round. She was extremely pleased when we told her how much we enjoyed the food. Please keep up the good standard and I will certainly come back more often as a...

#late review Racist staff/ owner - as an Asian restaurant it’s funny to see they are discriminating Asians. If you are not white, just order the food finish them and go. No chitchatting no gathering Food was absolutely amazing but the staff was rude and funny. We visited here in March, staff was blunt and rude but we get that most of the Asian food places are like that. However just after we finished, they kept asking if there’s anything we want to order, any dessert we want which basically asking us to order more otherwise you gotta pay and go. We were a group of four - we ordered 3 main 1 side 1 platter 2 drinks 2 desserts- maybe they expected we should order more. While we finished our desserts they said there was a queue outside and asked us to pay. After we paid the bill, we went to the loo and saw many empty tables inside and there is NO ONE QUEUEING outside lol we were very shock could believe that can happen. It’s was a weekday so it wasn’t busy after 9pm. We were the only Asians left in that restaurant and all the other customers around us are white and we are Asians. They are still chatting while their food were finished and not ordering dessert but they get to stay. I don’t understand why Asians tend to do this to Asians.

- goi cuon (£6.90) - banh xeo (£12.50) - bun hue dau hu (£13.90) firstly, the service here is unbelievably quick - we literally got all our food in under 10 mins of ordering but it was still fresh and piping hot. we started out the goi cuon (summer rolls); they were generously filled with tofu, vermicelli, veggies and fresh herbs, and made the perfect start to our meal. my friend ordered the banh xeo (crispy pancake), which neither of us have tried before, but it did not disappoint. it was so big that it basically took over up our table and i LOVED how crispy it was i’ve never tried anything like it! i got the bun hue noodles and i’ve only had meat versions before but this was delicious nonetheless - it came filled to the brim with veggies and tofu plus the broth was just perfect. would 100% recommend and i will be back soon (+ if you come during 12-3 on mon-fri you can get 10% off)
