I am a local to this place and have been a few times and it's been pleasant. This time however, I took my 5 year old daughter in as a treat after her choir performance. One of the regulars decided to shout at her, across the pub very aggressively, because she wanted to see what a hat, that was on display, felt like. This made her cry. I made my feelings clear to the man who in turn responded vilely and then was told by the girl serving behind the bar that this behaviour is condoned cos he's a regular and her mum would be out of pocket all because my daughter wanted to feel something! I was extremely cross and will not be visiting again. it was 2.45 in the afternoon!...
