The Railway Tavern — Restaurant in London

I am a local to this place and have been a few times and it's been pleasant. This time however, I took my 5 year old daughter in as a treat after her choir performance. One of the regulars decided to shout at her, across the pub very aggressively, because she wanted to see what a hat, that was on display, felt like. This made her cry. I made my feelings clear to the man who in turn responded vilely and then was told by the girl serving behind the bar that this behaviour is condoned cos he's a regular and her mum would be out of pocket all because my daughter wanted to feel something! I was extremely cross and will not be visiting again. it was 2.45 in the afternoon!...

Amazingly I've lived in the area for 20 years but never made it here until the weekend. Probably the liveliest pub in Carshalton but then there was a bit of a do going on but got served quickly enough considering how busy it was. Friendly staff & regulars plus being a Fullers pub pretty much guaranteed a good pint 🍻 Got a jukebox too which I think by law all pubs should have 😉 Won't leave it so long to...

A lovely little pub close to the station in Carshalton coveredinknick knacks, Union Jack's andsix nation flags. A comfortable and clean interior with pleasant staff. Little cubby holes here and there both inside and out. Booths and high tables around the walls and chairs at the bar - what more could you want? A nice pleasant beer garden to the side.
