Hands down the rudest bar tender I've ever encountered in my life. Tried to pay with cash for my round of drinks as I had lost my card earlier in the day. When I asked for a good pour, the guy with the glasses hit back with, “I worked 10 years in Dublin, I know how to pour one.” Fair enough, but the pint he served was subpar, which made the arrogance unnecessary and a bit embarrassing.
Confidence is fine, but when it crosses into rudeness, especially without backing it up it leaves a bad taste. In hospitality, being right isn’t as important as making the customer feel welcome. A little humility and a better pour...
