Another cafe joins the fray on Hornsey High Street, this time run by the old hands at Green Hill who were turfed from their lease (the original cafe now has new management). This new spot has much nicer decor, a proper coffee machine, and a little uplift in prices. Food is still good and value for money, plus they have a build your breakfast option. Probably second after Olive on the Hornsey cafe scoreboard and well worth a visit.

We enjoyed brunch of eggs Benedict (Florentine) with a hot beverages. The service was fast, and very attentive. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise was lovely and creamy. It came with a nice side salad with vinaigrette dressing. The sprinkling of paprika across the dish to finish was an excellent touch that worked extremely well. £20 well spent!

It's a friendly spot for a British hot breakfast. It's often busy with locals and the wait staff are lovely. The quality of the food is OK. I find the eggs are often over or under done. More of a place for a mixed grill or gammon and chips - very much not an artizan coffee spot for "poached eggs and mashed avocado on sour dough". It's simple decent food.

No dogs allowed (despite cafe being near ally pally and priory park) so had to sit outside. Got a very mediocre bacon baguette (two rashers of cheap bacon in a baguette, despite being upsold from a roll, so you have to assume that there would be, what, one rasher in that?), Asked for no sugar in tea, got a slight amount of sugar in the tea as though they'd used the sugar spoon to stir it. Could've knocked one star off for each of these things, but it was busy and people who were allowed in seemed to be having a nice time. I'm sure if you're after a classic cafe it would be fine, just everything I wanted was a bit of a...

I recently visited this cafe, the food itself is not bad but I am given it a two star rating because of poor customer service. There is a young lady that works at this cafe that really does not like what she does for a living. She is rude, impolite and condescending. Whilst I sat there, I had to ask to see the menu. Ask for the drinks that I ordered 20 minutes ago and even ask for a glass to pour the drink into.To make matters worse I was the only one sat there during that hour and yet there were mistakes, after mistakes. Maybe she was having a bad day, but needless to say I will not be returning to the green...

Customer service was really disappointing. I think the owner had stepped into cook and serve as the chef was not in, not only did he have a face on him like a smacked bottom, but definitely made most people he came in contact with him feel under valued and ignored, as he choose to rudely act like he was invisible grunting when being asked anything, he would then reply to one of the waitresses in his language, all while continuing to Ignore the customer and then the waitress would have to rely some type of answer if any. All a bit too uncomfortable for me for the sake of trying to...
