Tried this place for the first time today and everything was great! The waitress and chef were extremely friendly and all smiles, and were happy to explain some of the menu to us. They had just undergone a menu change and we were at first a bit disappointed to see that there was no sorbet but after ordering the cheesecake and tiramisu which were both very good (especially the tiramisu!) we were all very satisfied. The pizza was amazing, light dough and nicely seasoned and the pastas were great as well. Huge portions, good food, good price. There were four of us and we ordered one coffee, two pastas, one lamb shank, one pizza and two desserts, and it came out to only £14.10 for each of us. Well! Where can I start! Except it seems all feed back look like they were made by friends or family! My experience was like this. Service was brilliant, the waitress was charming and was trying to cope with the pressure. The kitchen staff on the contrary was very bad, inexperienced.’ Food was super late, half cold and burnt. Why do many Italian restaurants are run by Romanians? Any reason??? The food was dreadful and I did feel sorry for the very professional waitress 😔😔. If I was the owner, I will stop right there and try another business. Or maybe get two decent chefs and give a pay rise to your waitress! She saved the day to be honest! 1 star is too much to begin with but anyway This place has a very tense atmosphere, the lady with black hair serving the food must be head waitress or whatever, is very rude and grumpy. Not professional at all! She needs to find another job that would suit her more maybe. The fact that they keep yelling and speaking Italian is rude and disrespectfull toward costumers. I doubt it that they are Italian anyway I think they are Albanian pretending to be Italians, whatever. The food is disgusting and over-all a very bad and disappointing experience.
