Absolutely awful. Ordered a cheese and tomato roll and 2 bacon rolls, the cheese roll came out with grease from the bacon both on top of the roll and all over the cheese sent it back only for it to be returned with no tomato and a roll that seemed undercooked!! Very doughy!!! The whole area both in and out is filthy and falling apart the outside tables at the rear of the cafe are just about standing, in the blazing heat there were sauces put out on the tables in carriers surely in the extreme heat mayo etc., should be kept cool? The bins were full there was rubbish all over the seating area, the garden area is messy, everything is unkept. When we used to first use the cafe the original owners were brilliant always good food, cleanliness was paramount and food was served with a smile. The place is falling apart and I am surprised that the council would even consider leaving this cafe open it needs to be refurbed and needs a full deep clean. The doors to outer areas look as though they are ready to fall off their hinges!! We won’t be going there again and shall not recommend people...

Would give 0 stars if I could. Being surrounded by beautiful settings is not enough!

Because it is the only cafe in a huge park (the park is amazing by the way!), they have pretty much no competition, hence the ridiculous prices for substandard food and drinks/coffee. Paid £10 for two sorry looking ice cream cones!! Not even in central London it cost this much! If you are unfortunate enough not have brought any cash, you have to queue for a very long time inside to pay for burgers or ice creams, which are sold outside and then queue, again for a very long time, to order your items! To say that the stuff is unprofessional and rude would be an understatement. It took them just under 4 minutes to produce a flat white 😂😂😂 and when I made them notice that they overcharged me, the 'employee' rolled her eyes and muttered something to her colleague who looked at me and laughed. I laughed too when she spilled my coffee and had to make a new one. I guess karma is a b**! Avoid avoid avoid....

My son wanted to celebrate his 8th birthday in Trent Park with his cousins and have lunch at the cafe. We waited 1 hour for our food order after having been told it would take 20mins, and visited the counter after 30mins and 40mins after the initial order. The chef or staff did not give a reason for the delay or apologise. Everyones food came at different times . One order didnt come at all! Two of the orders were not completed as they realised 40mins after tge ordertgey ran out of burgers! So they offered chicken burgers, we agreed as the children were starving. The food was bad quality - nuggets soggy bad quality, chips not cooked properly at extortianote prices - childrens meal £6.00 each for 5 nuggets, chips, peas and drink. We paid £48 for the childrens meals. £50 for the adults meals - jacket potato £8.50 not baked properly! Soggy burgers, wrong burger brought. Basically we spent over £100 with drinks and left unsatisfied with the food...

I’ve had food previously here and sometimes takeaway coffee or hot chocolate. The hot drinks are nothing special unfortunately and normally if I can get my drink from another coffee shop on my way I usually do that to get a better quality hot drink. They seem to sell Costco cakes and pastries, double the price but unfortunately not as fresh as it seems to have been sitting there for days. The food has always been very average and over priced for the quality you get. Never tried the bbqs they sometimes have so can’t comment on that. The customer service is usually very poor and it has nothing to do with how busy they are as the service is always slow and not the most friendliest environment. The actual coffee shop is in a great location and I love the seating outside, if they could improve the quality of their meals and drinks and train or employ friendlier staff it will really improve the quality of this cafe.

So I've been here numerous times whilst walking my dog with friends and in all of the five years not once has anyone confronted me about the place not been dog friendly, no dogs policy. The majority of people who go to that place are dog owners and walkers. Go figure? Well, it was a very cold day yesterday and my friend and I needed warming up so did our dogs too, we thought pop in there, get some food and a hot drink. Food and drinks were served and then we were told we would have to sit outside because we had dogs with us. (Bearing in mind we have the smallest of dog breeds) My advice to the cafe is to please put up some no dogs allowed signs if you are not pet friendly. You'll probably lose alot of business but atleast you're being upfront with dog owners. Sincerely, One ex customer.

I was in shock when I went to meet friends in the cafe. One of the dirty and unhygienic place. Also not safe walking around. Full off bins in the garden side they smell and no need for them. Inside the cafe lots of boxes. I don't understand how the council does allow them run the cafe. I dare to see the kitchen. I was very hungry and I ordered something simple sandwich. Tomato, Avacado and mozzarella. It was horrible. They did not use Avacado. Paid for £6.50 for it. It was not worth at all.
