Trinity is a fantastic place to hang out after hours with friends, family or to meet new friendly people in the central Harrow town area. As one of the oldest and most established musical venues in the London Borough of Harrow, it occupies a unique slot in North West London as being the established place to perform or discover new live musicians. Several notable artists and bands have played here, a couple even having their first debut live performance under it's humble yet hallowed roof.
The management keep everything neat, clean and tidy despite a tumultuous year and heavy hitting lockdown this 2021 so far. Hopefully the old patrons the locals the regulars and their new acquaintances continue to grace the place with their enthusiasm for a late night hang and on given days, to enjoy a late night DJ set or pro level musical performance.
Kas and the security run a tight ship so ensure you and your friends comply strictly to the pandemic protocols still in place. Masks on at entry and walking anytime between tables. Otherwise, no walking around except in, out and to the bathrooms. No shouting, no rowdy behaviour (as always pre pandemic), but also don't let security catch you just standing up at your table even for an innocent second... When your phone slides out of your pocket or when the bar staff bring you the shots you just ordered for your five friends and three bar staff upstairs on a Saturday. Speaking from very recent experience, one of the elder security statesman will just become randomly aggravated and ask you to leave for absolute zero logical reasons.
Happened to a friend. Sometimes, people have bad days and the first full week of events at Trinity have taken their mental and physical toll on the elder statesmen. Thereby, putting him in a foul mood. His frustrations at being ignored were understandable, especially as multiple groups of lads were standing in the centre between tables of women, trying to talk. Without masks. Without distancing. Without listening to the "table service only" instructions given verbally and signposted everywhere inside.
Hopefully, the public stays compliant to public health Protocols and vaccine uptake. If that happens then June 21 cannot come quickly enough, for a superb summer we can all enjoy.
Check out Trinity Bar Harrow on digital platforms for more info and easy bookings. They're on Facebook and Instagram IIRC, while some live band events are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been going there for the good part of the last 7 years but tonight's experience was the worst out of all...I'm not going to elaborate on all of them...
Been out with my girlfriend for a meal and had 3 drinks each...around 1 o'clock we head down to trinity and just because we were walking a bit slow on the way to the doors(so we can finish our cigarettes),the bouncer decides my girlfriend is too drunk to come in tonight. Now,it wouldn't have been an issue if she was, nor if she was on her own....but, I know for a fact that she's been allowed there when she was on her own or with one of her girlfriends or wasn't with me and was completely off her face!!!! Now, dear old trinity management....do you mind telling the likes of me, how is it acceptable for tour bouncers to randomly deny entrance to customers and yet allow drunk women into the pub? Or is it the fact that they themselves like a touch or two on the drunk ladies....as it is well known?!??! I don't expect you to answer that last question...
Apart from that, the place constantly smells like someone died in there and is still decomposing 10 years after, drinks are completely overpriced compared to other places in harrow....and yes...you got the best late night venue award....only because you're the only one that has that licence in the town...
Read moreLove the staff who are always helpful and at hand to help you choose unusual blends of drinks that you might not have tried elsewhere. Décor is artistically visually pleasing. Toilets not always that clean, but overall atmosphere is great. A choice of outdoor and indoor seating for you to choose from. Not known for its food so don't expect to go there for food if you are looking to eat and drink.
The music played in the background is alternative and not your usual Pop / RnB that is played in most bars. It is a bar with a difference. Upstairs is set up for intimate gigs for venue hire with a stage. Some great performances have taken place at Trinity Bar. Well worth a visit if you are in Harrow. A highly recommended bar.
Trinity Bar is my favourite local place to have a drink and sit with friends and loved ones. Don't knock it until you've tried it. A squirrel the other day even visited Trinity Bar. Clearly they do not discriminate. If you are looking for something different, funky and fluid then this is the place...
