True Flavours Caribbean Cuisine — Restaurant in London

11/07/19 Right so i personally seen the halal sign right behind the counter on the right . Parking is around the corner and a few spots infront of the shop . This place takes orders on the phone ( if you can get through) and its better then waiting around in the shop (believe me when i say that). Staff are to the point but friendly and you must exercise a bit of patience when ordering because the place is always busy and the staff do try hard to push it out ( cant blame them they get none stop orders , go inside and see ) so yeah just order and wait calmly maybe 5-10 mins and you will get your food . Its a strictly takeaway , no space inside to eat ... but yeah the food is awesome . We ordered peppersteak , curry goat , pasta and rice and peas we loved it and we recommend that . Yes we do recommend this place to eat and we would be coming back . Very tasty food for a good price ( large £8 small £6 ) . Very nice experience. tip for first timers here because it can be confusing theres no particularly line/queue so just because your there doesn’t me the guy/girl on ur left/right aren’t infront of you so when you walk in find out whos ordered and who hasn’t (just like anywhere else ) then place your order at any point on the counter and then take a step back to the side and wait till you name is called , what they serve that day is on the black chalk board on ur left of the counter and not the board infront ( learnt the hard way 😆) and you always pay when you receive your food , not before (shop rules , so they dont get confused / ripped off i guess because of the amount of orders coming and going...

Ordered through Uber Eats, from True Flavours Caribbean Restaurant Brixton, a large Brown Stew Fish with hard food, steamed vegetables along with Curry Chicken, white rice and pasta on 1/11/2025 for dinner. The Curry Chicken came as ordered but the Brown Stew Fish with hard food and steamed vegetables arrived without the Brown Stew Fish. I was charged £14.95 for the large Brown Stew Fish with hard food. But on reporting the missing Brown Stew Fish to Uber Eats they state that a refund of £2.74 will be refunded to my original means of payment. Wf do they both Uber Eats and True Flavours Caribbean Restaurant expect me to spend £12.21 for just 2 pieces of yam, 2 cornmeal dumplings and a bit of steamed vegetables, an incomplete order. Is that fair to any customer to be paying for a terrible incompetent service received? Everything about True Flavours is just Great!!! The food is yum yum yummy, prices are the best food prices you will get on Arcelane and the Ladies that serve are lovely. This is my regular Jamaican cuisine takeaway shop. Honestly I can not fault them. The chef with the corn role and beard who is a little short in size is a bad boy cook!!! Can't wait to see True Flavours turn into a restaurant!!! Believe me True Flavours is exactly what it says on the door. Don't be afraid of feel inferior though when you come to the shop to order your food. They serve all nations, colours and creeds. Everybody is welcome!!! Do not let the 'bag of people' in the shop to put you off upon entering, understand it's a small size takeout shop so yes the place does get rammed quite quick but if you taste their food you will understand why!!!
