On my first visit I received inedible rice, however upon receiving my feedback, the host was very keen to put things right. Fernanda is very genuine, has nothing but love in her heart and it clearly upsets her if any of her guests do not have a good time. However, as a take-away customer, my interest is in the food rather than the experience, although if you are an experience-first diner then bring your friends and you will have a five-star experience here. Suffice it to say, on my second visit the rice, in particular, was much improved and plentiful. The naan, although a shade small, was cooked perfectly with good aeration and colour throughout the base. Poppadoms cooked perfectly without too much oil. Unfortunately, having now tried both, it strikes me that perhaps Goan curries are not to my tastes, so perhaps it is a little unfair to judge them, but it leaves me curious how the more traditional dishes measure up, so I may be back one day to find out. My thanks to Fernanda for being such a kind host.

The concept is amazing but it just didn’t deliver. Food was really disappointing and there just wasn’t enough of it! Loads of curries but one bowl of rice for 4 people, 1/4 of a naan, 1 baji and 1 samosa isn’t enough for £30. In their defence, whenever we asked for more they would bring it but I feel like there should have been enough to start with. The only thing there was loads of was poppadoms but they don’t fill you up, maybe that’s what they thought would happen? The curries were quite watery and not overly tasty. The paneer one looked curdled (pic), the chicken masala have off Heinz tomato soup vibes, and the Dahl was blended so was a garlicky soup (not opposed to it but too watery!) Also, the karaoke was just on YouTube on a phone? A screen would be so much better, and that’s what you’d expect from a karaoke place.

We had a completely unexpected, fabulous evening at Bebs Kitchen! We tried getting in last year on NYE, hoping that being spontaneous pays off. It didn't. But Fernanda was so nice to us then, and the atmosphere was so warm and positive, that we promised ourselves to go back. And we did! And we had a fabulous meal (the most generous dollop of butter in my butter chicken I have ever seen), met fantastic people and laughed by far the loudest in 2023 (make sure to join the karaoke!). If you're looking for a gem in London - here's one. Bebs Kitchen makes you feel like a local, a part of an incredible community, and on top of that - serves the best curry in this part of town! Good veggie options NS&BYOB on top of that.

I came with as a last minute guest to my friends booking not knowing what to expect. We were a table of four, and once arrived we got served the poppadoms quite quickly. One samosa each thereafter. However as there were 2 other big tables that night, we waited almost an hour for the mains to come out. Another small table left as the staff seemed to forget their food.

The food was preordered, and once arrived we received one bowl of pilau rice, 2 chicken curries, sag paneer and a chickpea curry. Two naans to share. The food was mid at best, and the tikka masala was very sweet, assumingly to fit western palates. But we came for the vibe, and despite the hot weather we looked forward to the karaoke. The karaoke came on (its just an aux connected to youtube on the owners phone) and everybody including the owners took turns. Moods were high.

Once we wrapped up and everybody was ready to leave, my friend got up to pay and it was a whooping £160 for our table. I guess he was drunk (and fairly new to London) because he paid it without hesitation but I was shocked at the price. £40 per head for 4 curries (normal sized) rice and two naans - no dessert and no drink?? I would expect to pay less at Dishoom with better service and facilities. We looked the prices up online and if ordering takeaway or possibly walk in on a week day the same exact order would have cost us £70. I dont understand where the extra £90 came from.

Really want to give them a better rating considering it is family owned and the owners are friendly, but unfortunately wont go back or...

Beb’s Kitchen is one of the few restaurants serving aunthentic local Goan Food and Indian Food at really great prices with oodles of flavour.

Bebs kitchen has a lovely pleasant ambience, that’s perfect for a family/group meal with great eating experience.

We ordered Lamb Samosas, prawns in Puri, Chicken Pakoras and Paneers Shashlik for starters.

My personal favourites were the lovely plate of thumb size samosas, each one perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious. The fine, crispy pastry brings out the flavour in that amazing Lamb filling and the Prawn puri which wasn’t too spicy but yet had the right amount of bite for a Indian dish.

For maincourse we ordered prawn curry rice an absolute Goan treat to the eyes and the taste buds which is a must try dish at Beb’s Kitchen. The Pulao was a dish packed with flavour, each grain of rice holding bags of that smoky spice flavour of India. We also had the Chicken Karahi and Lamb Sangwala with Roti which is a perfect combination and very delicious.

I’m addition to the food the service at Beb’s kitchen is second to None, Fernanda and Beb are soo hospitable and charming and have such welcoming warm personalities. To top it up the Jam up sessions and the Hindi songs sung by the hosts keeps the Indian spirit pumped up in you.

If you are looking for the real taste of Indian Food, you must visit this place.Last but not the least Beb’s kitchen is truly a hidden gem! Highly...

I just had the best dinner I think I have ever had. The food, service and ambiance was second to none! This is truly a hidden gem! My favourites are the samosa’s (lamb & Veg) homemade delicious morsels and the aloo chat has to be tasted! Absolutely Amazing!! We also had the Goan prawn curry, Lamb Karahi, and Prawn Jalfrezi with home made chapatti’s. The aromatic flavours with the coconut sauce and just the right amount of spice in the curries were cooked to perfection and the lamb was succulent and and almost melted. The home made freshly cooked chapatti’s are absolutely delicious and are the perfect combination with the any curry as alternative to rice or even with. To finish our wonderful meal Fernanda brought us some lovely rose tea and a delicious piece of home made cake on the house! We were thoroughly spoilt ❤️ Last but not least Fernanda and Beb were adorable and have such welcoming warm personalities. They were attentive, entertaining and made you feel very comfortable and like you were having dinner with family. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. The best food in the best environment served by the nicest people. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night. Thank you for a lovely...
