Didn’t try coffee which seems to be what this place is known for so can’t comment. Food very mediocre. Ordered a breakfast which specified refried beans on the menu - perhaps mislabelled as I was served a breakfast covered in tinned baked beans (not seasoned or spruced up either) which I personally really don’t like so wouldn’t have ordered and the ā€˜sautĆ©ed potatoes’ looked and tasted like boiled new potatoes. I did mention the beans misunderstanding to the waitstaff as soon as I was served but they weren’t bothered in the slightest which is a shame because I wasn’t asking for anything, just letting them know that the menu was very misleading which had me leave more than half of the breakfast I paid Ā£13 for. Bit cheeky to be putting Heinz in a pot and calling that refried šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø You’ll have the exact same breakfast for a third less and no artistic rebrands of well-known foods in the greasy...

We’re very lucky that Vagabond is our closest cafe, so I’ve had coffee here a lot and it’s very good. What made me want to write this review though was the Full English I had here recently.

I’ve had their Full English in the past and it was fairly average, not bad but not great. However, the last couple of times I’ve been they’ve stepped up their game so far it’s unbelievable - I think I’ll be coming back for it every weekend.

The first thing to note is the quantity you get. It doesn’t show in the picture, but it’s quite literally a mountain of food. The most important thing though obviously is the quality, and I have to say I think it may be the best Full English I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a lot.

The sausage is juicy and flavourful, the black pudding has fantastic texture, the beans are seasoned unlike any I’ve had before, it’s all just incredible. Keep doing what...

Coffee is very good but the quality of food left much to be desired. The tricolore breakfast special (Ā£9) comes with salmon, avocado, tomato and two poached eggs on ciabatta. I don't know how they managed it but the ciabatta was hard on the outside and soggy on the inside. One of the poached egg was overdone, and the tomato was like the palest I've seen with a tinge of green. Smoked salmon tasted like something you'd find at ikea, and to top it all off the chef just sprinkled dry herbs over everything. Please get yourself a real chef and better ingredients if this is the price you're charging for your food. I expected more than just unseasoned vegetables sliced with a mandoline. Ps: please stop skimping on the chocolate for your brownies, it just tastes like a mouthful of flour in its...

Vagabond is a safe haven for workers and students alike. The experience begins the moment you spot the lovely little bicycle outside the main door. This industrial-styled coffee shop is cool, and has ample seating. There is a more boisterous ā€œfrontā€ section, and a more calm ā€œback sectionā€ next to it’s own personal roastery. The large space that is perfect for student’s who need to study, or professionals who need to get done some last-minute tasks. Whether you’re popping in for a chat or some work, there’s space for you! Vagabond makes their own roasts, which they put to good use in their caffeinated creations. They also have a few nice nibbles available, and they’ve always had a gluten free and a vegan option available. The zucchini & lemon cake is very good. Big fan N7!

Fave place in Islington. Good quality coffee and amazing food! Really fair priced for the amount of food you get compared to other specialty coffee/brunch spots. Loads of seating. Table service. Good wifi, not many outlets. The most adorable beaten up garden in the back, amazing to have a smoke (or fresh air) and kick back with your coffee and read. They loaded it with plants so although the garden furniture is mitch-matched it's beautiful and quirky. I love when I have to pet-sit in Islington just so I can come here!
